All the thrills of Formula 1 racing await boys and girls ages 10 and up in this incredible LEGO Speed Champions Ferrari SF-24 F1 Race Car (77242) and driver set. The Ferrari toy vehicle features details from the real-life car that competed in the 2024 Formula 1 season, and kids and adult car collectors can build, display and race with it. The F1 model car features a cockpit that opens by lifting the halo bar, a rear wing, wishbone suspension, sponsor stickers and wider rear tires imprinted with “Pirelli.” The F1 race car also comes with a driver minifigure wearing a Ferrari outfit and a winged helmet to place inside the cockpit and stage races. LEGO Speed Champions sets let racing fans build models of some of the world’s most iconic vehicles, including other Formula 1 cars (sold separately) from the 2024 championship season. Each vehicle kit can be created using the printed building instructions or the LEGO Builder app to guide you and your kid on an enjoyable building adventure. Contains 275 pieces.

My child at times struggled and would get frustrated when it breaks apart while trying to join certain parts together. Some of the pieces are tiny and trying to angle them in the right spot was difficult. The instructions were easy to follow, even my 5-year-old was helping us find the pieces and putting the stickers on. We had to take several breaks from building it (it took about 3 weeks to complete), but my 9-year old was so proud of how it turned out.

My great-nephew is a huge LEGO fan, and absolutely loved this kit. The colors are very vibrant, and the entire set is so detailed and just like an actual Ferrari that he now has a new favorite in his LEGO car collection.

The instruction booklet was very well done with coloured instructions which were easy to follow, and the pieces were packed into numbered bags that made tracking them down much easier. I haven’t built a lego piece in many years and was impressed by the versatility and ingenious use of joints to construct curved parts of the car. And the wheels are so smooth compared to what I remember from many years ago, the car just rolls along like a fancy piece of kit. Overall very good entertainment for around an hour plus a bit!

Once completed they were very happy and it was lots of fun to play with.. I would recommend this for advanced lego builders over 12.

This is now our 6th F1 speed champion build. We are absolutely loving these builds. Watch were you grab when putting on parts. I've had to reattach parts alot. The end result is awesome. If you have a chance to get one of these sets do it, it's well worth your time. On to the next build.

The instructions were super easy to follow and my son had a ball setting up what’s needed for the next step. A solid construction so he can roll the car around pretending to race!
