Description
Create an iconic Donkey Kong level in the brick-built LEGO Super Mario universe with this Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Ride Expansion Set (71425) for kids. Place a LEGO Mario, LEGO Luigi or LEGO Peach figure (not included) in the mine cart to ride around the track. Flip the Snaggles out of the way, fix the broken section of track, defeat the Mole Miner and ’explode’ the rock to reveal a bunch of bananas to ’eat’ or gift to the Diddy Kong or Funky Kong figures. Buy balloons from the airplane shop and ’fly’ the plane to earn more digital coins. Note: the 71360, 71387 or 71403 Starter Course is required for interactive play. Download the LEGO Super Mario app for building instructions and other inspiring stuff to enhance the creative experience. got this set for my sons birthday (6) and he loved it. challenged him just enough but wasnt too difficult he couldn't do it. he really enjoyed it and has made a great addition to his Mario track.

He absolutely loves diddy kong and legos so the combination made him crazy happy. He said its super relaxing putting on some music and just putting the set together. Showed my niece who also loves legos and the two of them fawned over how well made it was!

He always enjoys building Lego set, but doesn't often play with them. He had a blast building this one and said it's his favorite Lego Mario set so far. Our favorite part is the plane. It's so interactive, and triggers a lot of different sounds as you fly it around. The only thing we didn't like is that the mine cart doesn't stay on the track well. You can't loosely hold and push, but more barely glide over the track. It's a very fun kit though, with lots of play value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Diddy Kong’s mine craft ride expansion Lego set is the best one I have seen so far .I love how it comes in small packages for each seperate stages and it kept my boys busy for longer time .I would just give them each pack when they do a good job and god love the quality and way it gets build up .My boys were doing all the work to just get the legos and make them faster .It keeps them busy and looks amazing when it’s built and my boys keep playing with it all the time .I love the digital instructions very much since I don’t have to worry about them loosing the pages .Just beyond amazed by the quality and the toy itself is amazing .love legos all the way .Best one my boys have ever played with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my lego loving boys! I'm so glad I did. Not only did they love it but I did too. It was so much fun to put together. It reminded me a lot of when I was little and played Donkey Kong! You will need the starter set to have interactive play but if you have that then you are all set. My boys have played with this for hours. I'd definitely recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item for free to sample and write my honest review. My family had so much fun building this Lego set. We each took a different section to build and then we attached them all together. This is a great, fun to make Lego set. My husband told the kids that this set reminded him of the Diddy Kong games. Some of us shared the instruction booklet and some of us used the app that was online. it’s great to have it online in case you misplace the booklet. My kids have already asked us to buy them any other Legos that can be added to this set. It was well worth the quality time we spent on it.

The amount of creativity put into this set is super cool! I love that the booklet is on the app, it’s convenient and you don’t have to worry about losing instructions.

This provided them hours of pure fun of finding the pieces to put them in the spot they belomged or not! Made me think of Donkey Kong when I was younger so of course I helped them. Such a cool Lego set for kids and adults! Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great expansion set that combines with the Mario Starter Set my children already have. They and their friends love Donkey Kong and Mario and all the characters. This Lego set features the mine cart, airplane, track, several characters as well as the equipment and tools to blow it up. When built the Lego set looks very fun and cool. The expansion set has over 1000 pieces and keeps my children busy for long periods of time. The Lego set is a great way for them to creatively build and play. This is age appropriate and they are able to build on their own without adult assistance. There is also an app for this that includes enhanced instructions and features. My children were really excited to get this set and are having fun and a great time with it.
