[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was one of the coolest Legos we’ve ever done! The value is perfect for what it is. It’s special and it was fun to do as a project between my husband and child. If you follow directions, it was easy to make, but you definitely have to be older to do so. The packaging was perfect and I know we’re never going to take this apart. My son wants to keep it in his room forever.

Enjoyable from beginning to end. A fun build for fans of the Corvette brand. Not a lot of stickers, 20 and were easy to apply. Like other sets in this scale the fun element in the assembly of both engine and steering add whimsy.

I was so pleased to see the new stingray coming out, it’s a magnificent car. The Lego corvette sets are excellent so I was looking forward to a technic Lego set. It looks great when it is done, the photos don’t really show how well the details are done. It is difficult to do curves on a car like this and it is finished well to look like the real thing. The build is similar to other technic cars, there is a pattern to them but that is inevitable. It would be cool to have suspension like the GT40 but that would make it more expensive and complex so I’m ok without. Steering is good, it looks cool and a really well designed approach to replicating the real thing, I’m very happy with it. My son and I race it against the dodge charger!

I was very excited about this Corvette Stingray until I realized that it was missing a piece that is needed for a complete build. Not sure if I can bring myself to purchase anymore Corvette sets since this is the second Corvette that I've purchased or received as a gift that was missing pieces. I was able to overlook the first set missing pieces until the second Corvette was found to be incomplete.

I brought this as I have always had an interest in Corvettes, having owned a few in my time. This was a nice relaxing straight forward build, which would appeal to a lot of builders, new and experienced. There were a few familiar technics in the build. It whiled away some time very pleasantly. The finished build was pleasing to the eye. The steering works quite well and the vehicle moves well. There is a mixture of printed bricks and stickers. My preference is still for having more printed bricks. If you get the stickers wrong, they can throw the look of a build off. I was able to complete the build within one day, but there is never a need to rush a build. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There is pleasure in taking your time and enjoying the experience. This model would appeal to those who like Technics and Cars.
