When I finished building this set it would not release properly. The pin stopped it and when I took it out I got a similar result, it would run good for a few seconds but then would stop and would have to release it again. Would recommend for display not for playing.

I bought this early for Christmas. My children just opened it, and they found the stickers attached to the sealed lego bags. It can not be built because the stickers are all messed up.

I have been wanting to revisit building with Lego for some time, and after some considerable research, decided that this would be a beginner-friendly set to start with. I found the build thouroughly enjoyable, and took my time making sure I was following the instructions with exactness -- even then I had to reverse assembly to correct to errors in the initial part of the rear frame and pull-back motor build. What a totally enjoyable kit. The finished product is an excellent rendition in typical Technic fasihon, and while it only has the pull-back motor feature, I am very satisfied with the overall experience. I think I have been bitten by the bug.

The build experience was enjoyable, a good mix of large and small pieces and stickers that were mostly easy to put on, except for the small Puma and Vodafone stickers on the front wheel arches which were a bit more tricky to do precisely. The pull-back system works well and the acceleration is smooth and not too jumpy or quick. A bit pricey for the whole set in my opinion, although that is most likely due to the official Porsche Licencing. The set also accompanies the McLaren Senna GTR well too, another great set.

I love the fact that it actually has the pull back and go feature so it can actually be played with once completed. I have always been a fan of Lego, it was great to put together, as always great quality. My only negative would be that Lego is very expensive but I cannot complain about the actual item itself. I would highly recommend.
