Great size and resolution for word processing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Lenovo ThinkVision 23.8 E24q-20 QHD monitor to display lengthy text documents for word processing. I needed to replace an older 1080 HD monitor that displayed text as slightly pixelated. With this terrific new monitor, my Word documents look sharp. At the highest resolution (2560 x 1440) text displayed by the 24 inch monitor screen is comparable to my Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro laptop--no more eye strain! I also appreciate the sturdy build quality, easy to use display settings, and colorful but bright IPS panel. Overall this monitor seems like a perfect upgrade from standard HD for anyone who needs to work with word processing documents but doesn't want to pay extra for a 4k display. Great sale price to boot.

This monitor has good price for 2K + 75 hz resolution, but text clarity is not the best side of this monitor, it's just okay. I dont expect best colors or brightness as its lowest segment but text clarity is very important for this kind of monitors because it's mostly used for office tasks, but it's not the strongest side of this monitor unfortunately. It has good gray and black colors uniformity. Quality of plastic feels like the cheapest monitor I ever had, but I don't care too much as I use it with external VESA stand, it doesn't give any troubles, just sound when you trying to move it with some efforts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect clarity and resolution. It is well worth the money, as any other monitor brand I looked at is not even close. Any older laptop within 10 yrs should work with a QHD monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a permanent mark on the upper left of the screen which is a problem. I tried to write an email but got no reply. Otherwise it seems like a great monitor.

Excellent text clarity, a good monitor for office work. Built-in speakers are just enough to understand voice and UI beeps but not great for music. Cheap feel but okay for the value price. Recommended for student and office.

Misleading stand features

No swivel whatsoever (rotation around the stand's vertical axis). The monitor has to be tilted in order to have enough vertical space to rotate 90 degrees to portrait mode. Can only be used in portrait mode in negative tilt angles (facing the ceiling). The stand is too short so that the monitor bottom touches the bottom of the stand when rotated in portrait mode
