A: The drawers are not designed for heavy storage. They are suited for storing light office supplies / essentials. Hope this helps.

Q: Can the drawers/long legs be attachd on either side, or does the construction only let you attach them on the left? I would prefer the long legs to be on the left and the drawers on the right.

This desk is poorly, poorly made and cheap. After four months of light use, one leg fell off, then the other, and the full desk collapsed. The point where both legs fell off is manufactured by the warehouse, so this isn't user error. They are, quite simply, glued on. Glue does not hold up to use and weight being added. Target also gets zero stars for being unwilling to refund or exchange a faulty item, so I'm out $200. Save yourself and don't do the same.
