Q: When I opened it to rinse first and then fill, the chemical smell was very strong! And then my eyes began to itch! Been sitting outside for over 48 hours to air out, open, and still smells... Will it go away??

A: Sometimes at first there could be an odor initially with resin..not sure about the itching comment though unless she’s very sensitive to odors. Suggest to wash out with dish soap and water and let air dry without pump head. If this doesn’t go away to her satisfaction we will gladly replace it.

The base is sturdy but the spout and pump feel very cheap. The silver is peeling off the end of the spout already, it’s been in use maybe a week. Also the wood inlay is not straight and neither is the material around it.
