I normally wear a small, but ordered a medium in these pajamas based on other reviews. The top was fine, but the bottoms were actually too short, surprisingly (I mean, I'm 5'2"). I had to return them, which I hated, because the pajamas were extremely comfortable. They felt so good. I liked the waistband on the pants, too - nice and wide and laid flat so nicely. I'd have ordered a large, but the top would have been way too big.
