Hi, Benjy. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about encountering issues with your LG TV (OLED77C2PUA) model, especially after a couple of years of use. We strive to provide top-notch products and ensure a smooth experience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tv does not power on. Had the Tv for less then two years
1 reply from LG Social team - 4 months ago
Hey Cjames, thanks for reaching out! We’re here to ensure you have the best experience with your OLED TV, and since it’s less than two years old, we’re confident we can get this sorted. First, check that the power cord is securely connected to both the TV and outlet, and try a different outlet to rule out any power issues. If the red standby light is on, press the power button on the TV itself (instead of the remote). If it still doesn’t turn on, it may be related to the power supply, main board, or T-Con board—more troubleshooting info is here: https://tinyurl.com/269dl8ul. If you need more help, just DM us @LGUSSupport with your contact details, and we’ll dive in to assist further! ^Anthony

Well, I just bought the best TV in my life. The clarity and color reproduction are outstanding. You can adjust the sound to your liking which is something I never had with a lesser previous TV. And one word sums it up for me. BLACK. I have never knew seen a the color black so black!!! Amazing. The narrow bezel makes this TV look bigger then it really is when I had it mounted on my wall, as compared to an older 70" with a larger bezel. The amount of adjustment you can do with this TV is staggering. You just need to spend the time with all those things to personalize it to your liking fir the best TV viewing. It's worth your time. I have bought the best TV and will brag that I have this TV to as many people who will care to listen.

Check your OLED screen with yellow or red screen

Im rating this a two star only because my experience has not finished. I purchased this TV from Conn's, who is going out of business. We got the tv home only to find that the screen was faulty. When there is a solid color such as yellow or red on the screen there is a big blotch in the middle of the screen. Unfortunately Conns will not take the tv back as "all sales are final" Contacted LG. Still waiting to speak with their expert to see what can be done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is, by far, the best TV I’ve ever owned. Had an LG 55” 3D 4K TV for about 10 years and loved it. Finally decided to take the plunge and upgrade to the 77” OLED and I am truly amazed at the beautiful picture quality. Thanks LG for making such a magnificent display. Keep up the good work!

Frustrating to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give 4-5 stars but the TV is buggy and glitchy in ways that make it an overall PAIN to use. Every single time I turn it on it wants to do a pixel clean, which takes 5 minutes. If I accidentally hit "yes' then I have to either wait 5, minutes or bypass it and try again. There are times where I can't even turn the TV OFF because it wants to do a clean. Even if I hit "yes" it STILL WONT DO IT. And I have to beg it to turn off. It's apparently a hardware issue and I doubt LG cares to patch it. I wish I didn't buy this TV. This, along with my buggy laptop, is enough to give up on LG products for good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Completely unusable. The device’s connections are below criticism; they surely didn’t test it with end-users. The Jabra earpiece freezes several times. Reset and re-teach. With the amplifier, the optical output needs to be re-taught multiple times. The amplifier doesn’t work with a wired optical connection, only with an external device + TV optical output. When using Bluetooth and optical output, it requires frequent re-teaching. Horrible to use. During gameplay, the menu completely changes, which comes as a total surprise and makes it very confusing. The app can't find the TV for re-teaching. It's unreliable.Next TV will definitely not be an LG.
