Libbey Ascent 16 Piece Tumbler and Rocks Glass Set

Nicely shaped and well balanced glassware. Some have imperfections around the lip, but that is not surprising based on the price point of these glasses. Great value for the $$.

The tall glasses break too easily. Customer service was great!

Received these from our Zola registry and we really like them -- aesthetically lovely and interesting while still being simple and timeless, good for both day to day use and entertaining. But I'm here on the site in the first place trying to look for a replacement because my husband broke one of the glasses on the very first day. I thought it was just us/just a fluke, but I noticed another review mentioning the breakability and I would corroborate. The break happened when washing our dishes in the sink -- pulled a plate out from under the glass and it tipped over and shattered against the plate. I might have given three stars but since there's not way to replace the glasses in a smaller batch (e.g., just get 4 of the small ones or something) and I would have to get the full 16 glass set, it's quite a bit more frustrating how fragile these are.

Got this glass set as a part of our registry and I was so excited to receive them! Unfortunately my husband has broken 3 of them already and we've only been using them for a month! He dropped 2 not even an inch above a surface and they shattered. The other one he tapped on the tap and it cracked. These glasses should not be breaking so easily after being tapped or slipping from a very low height.

I absolutely love this Libbey Cabos Glass set they add a nice simple and elegant touch to any theme I have out on the dining table.This set includes 8 tall glasses and 8 short glasses. The smaller ones are great for desserts, such as ice cream, pudding even parfaits. The larger ones I use for lemonade, soda and all other beverages. The bottom of the glasses are a bit wider then the top giving the cups a good balance. The glasses are not stackable But, the quality is sturdy and holds up in the dishwasher. As any other glasses they are delicate and can brake if not handle properly. Overall, These add a great addition to my set up and i am very happy with the structure and quality!

The different sizes accommodates to every occasion and overall they have a awesome quality. Durable but they do not look cheap. The size around the rim is slim which I especially like. It makes drinking more enjoyable and they have now become our standard set in our home.

I like the weight of these glasses, the glass is thick enough not to chip if you accidentally bang them against something, and has a nice weighted feel. Holds up on the dishwasher. Great all purpose glasses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sampled these glasses and now me and my family use them almost daily . I like the shorter ones for when I make myself a drink or two . The taller ones we use daily in the morning for orange juice or milk . They are pretty thick and don’t break easy like most glassware now a days . I would highly recommend these . I washed all of them in the dishwasher before the first use and they are came out looking great . I’ll continue using the heck out of them until time takes its toll on them .
