Book Synopsis
INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERINSTANT USA TODAY BESTSELLER The long-anticipated sequel to Sister Souljah's million copy New York Times bestseller The Coldest Winter Ever. Winter Santiaga hit time served. Still stunning, still pretty, still bold, still loves her father more than any man in the world, still got her hustle and high fashion flow. She's eager to pay back her enemies, rebuild her father's empire, reset his crown, and ultimately to snatch Midnight back into her life no matter which bitch had him while she was locked up. But Winter is not the only one with revenge on her mind. Simone, Winter's young business partner and friend, is locked and loaded and Winter is her target. Will she blow Winter's head off? Can Winter dodge the bullets? Or will at least one bullet blast Winter into another world? Either way Winter is fearless. Hell is the same as any hood and certainly the Brooklyn hood she grew up in. That's what Winter thinks. A heartwarming, heart-burning, passionate, sexual, comical, and completely original adventure is about to happen in real time--raw, shocking, soulful, and shameless. True fans won't let Winter travel alone on this amazing journey.

I loved it , it’s like a movie. You have to have an open mind to get through it but the ending is a shocker and also you should read her other books first they all tie into each other.

The only book I’ve return in my life. It’s horrible. Disgusting. No character development. A true disappointment.

Beastiality, homophobia, and no character development are definitely my top reasons for disliking this book. The author has a valid point to make, but the delivery is just plain wrong and downright disgusting. By the end of this book, Winter STILL has not learned her lesson after everything she's experienced. Ultimately, I'm left disappointed and feeling like I needed to repent after reading this trash.

I was very disappointed. This book was all over the place and while I understood the meaning behind all of the symbolism, it still was not a good story at all and certainly felt like a completely separate storyline from the original book. Read something else.
Keep Reading the book--Dont stop.

I love the book. I thought I was 37 when “The Coldest Winter Ever” first came out. Actually I was 32. With the sequel I would have thought Winter would have matured but she was still living in the gutter. At first the book was hard for me to read with all The cursing and foul lifestyle but after page 60 I couldn’t put the book down. The book is full of symbolism. I can’t wait to finish reading. Thank you Sister Souljah.

I was a bit hesitant to read this book after reading all of the negative reviews but I'm glad I decided to anyway. You have to be patient when reading this book because the pace is a bit different. Very metaphoric and tons of hidden gems. You have to be at a certain spiritual level to actually understand where Souljah was going with this story. I love the switch up and I plan to read this book over and over, as I normally read important points that I missed the previous read. I suggest you give the book a try and form your own opinion/narrative, rather than listen to the negativity. Great job, Sister Souljah and Team.

if you have a faith other than that of the Muslim faith, your religion will be disrespected. It’s a hard push on her beliefs done in a poorly told story. The plot is her continuing to be an awful person until she fakes conversion for better circumstances.

This was not a good book. The plot was strange, characters were odd, and it just didn’t make sense. It doesn’t read like the original book reads. Instead, it reads like a bad fanfiction. As if some teenagers got together and wrote it during quarantine. The one good thing I can say about it is, her descriptive skills are great. You can visualize whatever scene she’s setting up.

I’m only reading this since I can’t return it. It’s as if this is not the same author from the coldest winter ever. Very disappointed waiting for fifteen years and this was not what I expected. Personally Winter should have stayed in prison

I was so excited to find out there was a sequel coming out, I picked the book up the day it was released. To say I’m disappointed is a mild understatement. It’s absolutely nothing like TCWE and the entire thing just drags on, same scenarios over and over. I don’t understand what the beastiality is about, it’s like a completely different author wrote this book. Super weird and really hard to get through. I thought I’d be done in 2 days. I regret spending the money on this one and might really return it. Consider downloading the free sample on the Kindle App first if you MUST see for yourself. Just super weird and random
