The oil blends in the cartridges of the pen diffuser are not refillable but are designed to last a very long time - so long in fact we expect you may run out of ink long before you run out of oil blend. This pens are really cool and creative. You can diffuse one scent at a time which smell pretty great! It’s not super strong either. OR you can keep all the vents closed and use it as a regular pen. But the fact you can open a vent and it diffuses a nice scent while you write is super cool and relaxing. The pen is a little large but shockingly lightweight. Writes VERY smoothly. High quality ink pen even without the diffuser part.
