A: Hi Mike: This runs on electric and is a plug in. The remote does require 2 AAA batteries

Q: I have received the Lifesmart YH-20-2 1100 Watt Traditional Electric Infrared Heater Stove, Black. When only the 1500W toggle is pressed, it blows cold air. I'm wondering if both heat toggles need to be pressed?

A: Thank you for the question. I would not suggest pressing both toggles as they are different setting(hot/cold). Please refer to the manual to make sure you are adjusting the correct toggle to blow warm air.

Q: The description said this heater only covers 150 sq. Is this true? Other similar 1500W heaters can cover 1,000 sq. Why this heater can only cover such tiny space?

A: Thank you for the question, we have put the coverage of this heater at 150 sq. feet not knowing what environment it will be used in. I would not suggest purchasing this if you are wanting to heat a space that is larger than 150 sq. ft.

Ordered one day it arrived the next. With cold weather arriving and my old heater malfunctioning was happy with shipping. Appearance is very cute, fits where I had hoped and puts out enough heat to keep our bedroom toasty warm on half heat. One night in and we are very pleased.

This stove is charming in appearance. The flame graphics are very realistic. However, the heat output is very disappointing and minimal. I'm not sure I will keep it.
