I bought a utility shed and it was missing two hinge caps. I called the customer service dept and the rep knew exactly what I needed. She took care of everything, puts in the order for those hinge caps to be sent to me at free of charge. then sent me a confirmation email. top notch customer service. what an awesome rep!

We replaced a 27 year old, rusty, steel shed with Model 60385; we loved the idea that the shed will not rust and is made out of durable plastic. We watched the assembly video prior to begining to assemble the shed-a big mistake, since it tends to create the impression to the buyer that assembly will be simple-that is incorrect. The very first step (1.1 in the assembly instructions) I experienced a quality control issue: I attempted to insert the hinge tube (gvc) on the left door-could not insert the tube all the way in-even with the rubber mallet. Inspected the opening and there was three-four sections of plastic blocking the tube. I attempted to insert the second (GVC) tube in the right door-same issue. I contacted Customer Service and discussed this issue with an assembly rep. and the rep recommended replacing both doors under warantee. They placed the order-will arrive three days later (tomorrow). I figured that I could continue to assemble the remainder of the shed and stop prior to Step 3 (Step 3-3 thru 3-5)-hanging the doors. I observed numerous quality control issues in Section 2: In step 2.1- I had to contact Assembly Customer Service a second time: The two floor panels would not attach together- the tip from the second Customer Service rep (wet the area with soapy water and then attempt to join both pieces by raising both at a 45 degree angle) and it worked, somewhat. The flooring is together but has gaps. The assembly of the wall panels into the flooring (2.1-2.20 in assembly guide) was quite difficult and quality control issues arose again: Ste 2.13- inserting the (GCU) tubes in the right front corner panel, I experienced the same issue with plastic blocking the guide hole in the panel-a brisk hit with the rubber mallet popped it through. Finally, every screw hole within the wall panels were filled with plastic- I had to use a small punch (not in assembly directions) to make a small hole inside the "holes in the die cast plastic" to insert a screw! All this occuring over the first two days of assembly (and not finished yet) was a big surprize, after viewing the assembly video which was only 24 min in length. Quality control is a big issue. The assembly instructions could be updated and provide more information/tips on how to assemble the shed.

I purchased the utility shed model 60385. Very nice shed but I was missing a bag of hardware. Lifetime was apologetic and very quick to send me the missing parts bag. Customer service was great.
