Description

The spacious design of the Lifetime Deluxe Dog House provides most medium to large dog breeds with plenty of room to sleep and relax. Research and development has shown that this unique and adaptable design gives owners peace of mind by providing flexibility around their dog’s needs. You can create an enclosed back room that better retains heat or remove the partition for larger interior space depending on your dog’s growth and preferences. The main door includes a weighted vinyl flap to help prevent wind or rain from entering the interior and the adjustable side vents provide great airflow. When conditions turn colder, you have the option to mount a heater (not included) and tuck the power cord into the wall channel and through the floor port for a simple and unobtrusive installation. The hinged roof has two gas-springs so it stays open for cleaning, but won’t slam shut on fingers or paws. The double hand-latch release mechanism ensures the roof won’t open due to wind or prying paws. The Lifetime Deluxe Dog House is constructed of durable High-density Polyethylene (HDPE) which is UV-protected and impact-resistant. The Rough Cut™ texture has the natural look and feel of wood without the maintenance of painting or staining so it can be an attractive addition to any yard or home. I love the house but several of the little plastic inserts that come with it to secure the screws into broke as soon as I screwed in the screw. The ones on the handles, the heater mount and the ones on the front that the handles click in to. I didn't over tighten them and once the first one broke, I was ever so gentle with the others and they broke too. Hopefully I can get replacements sent to me that aren't as fragile and maybe some extras too as I have a feeling some of these will break too. Sad that you spend this much money on a product and some of the parts are poorly made. I am also missing the Lifetime badge that attaches to the front of the house. Uggh :o(

We put the dog house on slightly uneven surface in our backyard so at times the parts did not align correctly. However, we made it work. Our two dogs don't seem interested in the dog house. I have a feeling the cats will explore inside.

I bought this dog house two years ago because the one I bought before that my dog chewed it up this one is indestructible. It’s amazing he chewed up the dog flapper door and I called him and told him I needed a new door and they sent me a whole side for the dark house. This company is wonderful and this dog house is amazing Would not hesitate a bit to buy another one

I bought this Lifetime Deluxe Dog House (Large) a few months ago. It is very well engineered. Lifetime thought of everything when designing this dog house. The assembly was very quick and easy with the directions included. The gas piston assist roof works very well and makes it very easy to clean. It is completely dry in the rain. The divided space is a great in the winter for keeping the dog warm. All in all this is a very durable product, and I would definitely recommend this dog house.

We bought this for our ducks and it has worked absolutely perfectly. My husband and teenager put it together easily in one afternoon and so far it’s been great in the early spring Montana weather (already has been great in the wind, rain, snow and graupel). I appreciate how durable it feels and we’ll definitely be keeping Lifetime in mind for other storage situations in the future.

We needed a roomy house for our 2 dogs and this one looked amazing. We ordered it in early Dec of 2022 and received it sooner than expected. The entrance to the side with a flap, vents, and plenty of room. I was amazed at how much they use it. I was afraid it was going to be a waste of money but it was not at all! The divider will stay during winter and be removed during summer. I added a piece of mesh over each vent to prevent bees or whatever from flying in during the summer. Love the easy-open top. That allows us to open it and air it out daily. I cannot say enough good things about this dog house! Thank you!

We have had some really cold weather so I was getting worried about her. So I got this dog house and put a heater in it and it does amazing. The weather was getting down to 12 degrees with a wind chill over below zero but this house did amazing. It has vents on the side that you close in the winter and open in the summer. The lid also can lift up a few inches and hold in place so this summer when we get close to 105 degrees I can open the top and the side vents to get some air circulation but still have her covered. If you’re looking for a versatile dog house, I highly recommend it!!

We are so in love with our new doghouse. I have 2 mini-Australian shepherds who are 30 lbs each. They both fit nicely in the house. One of the features we were most excited about was the material the house is made out of. The idea that it won’t rot and won’t need to be repainted like our wooden backyard fence is amazing! I was also pleased with the quality of the clear door. The door was the perfect thickness to keep closed with a little wind and also light enough the dogs had no problem pushing it to get through. I also really appreciate that the roof opens. This makes it easy to clean and also easy to see the pups if they decide they don’t want to come out. If you are looking for a backyard dog house, this is the perfect choice.

It was very simply to put together and I love how they offer the video for instructions on top of the paper instructions. My favorite features are the roof that you can open up and the vents on the side you can choose to close or leave open. You have a choice of putting in a divider or taking it out for extra space and it comes with a heater mount to keep you dog warm if you keep them out for a long period of time. It’s also very spacious inside I climbed through the doggy door and tested it out myself. I definitely will recommend this dog house to all my friends and family!

I absolutely love this house for my lab! He is a large lab (about 90#) but can fit quite comfortably inside. I like the divider as an option, though we took it out to make the house fit our dog better. It’s easy to clean, and the vents are a great feature. I like the ability to mount a heater for winter, though I do wish the house was insulated. Overall, though, fabulous product!

It may take some time to put together, but the time is all worth it. It is wonderfully made, and made with quality products. I appreciate how easy it is to access the inside and clean, how easy it is to clean the outside is well. I also love that my dogs can lounge on the roof and it is durable and strong enough to hold both of them!

My 2 dogs, Rowe and Nalu, are 90 and 110 lbs, and they both fit in it comfortably. It has adjustable ventilation for the hot summers, and a heating system mount for the cold winters. The roof is hinged, and the divider is removable for easy cleaning access. The installation is convenient as well, the instructions are thoughtful and there’s even an app and video to guide you through the process.

This dog house is legit! This is my dog's first dog house and it does not disappoint. I love how the windows open and close and you can open the whole house from the top! My dog was a bit confused about how to get in and out and was scared of the plastic, but it's nothing a few treats and training won't solve. He now is very enthusiastic about it! After a few windy days, the lid stayed closed and the house did not blow over. It feels sturdy but also light enough to move around yourself. It was helpful to have two people build this & I highly recommend having tools with you. I forgot to watch the youtube instructions listed which probably would have made the process a lot easier. The instructions were still clear and we had no issues with assembly.

This dog house was sent to me by Lifetime products to review and I have nothing but good things to say. This dog house is extremely nice quality and over all easy to build. I absolutely love that the roof is an easy to open lid that can be used when you're cleaning it out or needing to check inside. It's big enough to fit my 35 lb dog's bed in there and still have room for other things. The middle panel is removable which I absolutely love. Though I believe I could've built this on my own, having another person helped the building process even easier. Some of the pieces are heavy and big so it helped having another person being able to hold the other end. With 2 people it took us about 2 hours to put it all together. Tools are a must for building, I recommend having a drill and a socket wrench. I highly recommend watching the YouTube videos, they're easy to follow along and are a great visual. Everything is labeled and organized and written down in the instructions that come with the product. The written instructions come in handy when you need to know what items to use in each step. I absolutely love the quality that Lifetime brings to all of their products and the dog house is no exception to this.
