I bought this as a birthday present for myself because over the last year, the author's cooking videos would show up on my Facebook page. I liked her cooking videos and how humble she was, and I hope she stays that way. For the price, I thought I'd be getting a hardback book, but this is paperback. I'm not complaining; I still like the book and how compact it is. What I like about this cookbook the most, though, is that all of the recipes are practical and I can see myself making all of them. Some cookbooks, it's like you only make a handful of the recipes, and you don't even utilize the full book... but not with this one.
