These gave off such a chemical smell. Eating it was not enjoyable, all of the kernels didnt pop. Pass on these.

Large and fluffy popped kernels

This is, in my opinion, the best generic light butter popcorn. We switch between the Market Place brand and Great Value brand and the Market Place brand is the best. The popcorn kernals taste better. The butter, although it is light, is still nice and buttery. Also there are barely any unpoped kernals at the bottom after popping and the account you get popped is great!

My kids and I love the Market Pantry popcorn. I use to buy the Orville Redenbacher Popcorn for my kids and they would always want my Market Pantry popcorn. It has a much better taste and it seems to pop more kernels. Highly recommend :)

Dry, don't pop right taste like cardboard or something gross. Won't buy again.

This pops fine but the taste and smell is NOT good. I usually eat Orville and this just tastes and smells like chemicals (not that Orville is super healthy). Will not buy again.

Love this popcorn it’s so delicious

I have enjoyed a name-brand popcorn but not their prices, so tried Target's Light Butter thinking it would be (at least) similar with a much much lower price. The first time use (there are 6 packages in box), I burnt the popcorn. Placed it in for 4 minutes to make sure the microwave didn't stop before the product was done popping. At the 2.5 minute mark it was still popping slowly (usually the name brand stops at about 2 minutes). Popping slowed more, and because of the time, I pulled it out. Half the bag was kernels, half burnt popcorn...thrown out. Used another bag, and consistently since, each bag finished in my microwave at 3 minutes, half the popcorn is inedible because the popcorn kernels even in the popped corn are hard and could break a tooth. The other half of the kernels are unpopped at the bottom of the bag. So for light, puffy popped corn that doesn't feel like a waste of money or food, I'm going back to the name-brand for excellence!

I've been meaning to leave a review on these for ages because the low rating is NOT accurate. If you are someone that does NOT like a fattening & buttery popcorn (and IF you DO, why would you be looking at this product or buying ANY LIGHT popcorn of ANY BRAND? and if you have bought other "light, or reduced/low fat" brands of popcorn) and you actually like the other brands of LIGHT popcorn, THEN YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY with this popcorn. After discovering this light popcorn a couple of years ago I have not bought any other brand. REALLY like this brand of light. needless to say, family members who like buttery and full calorie popcorn do not eat this--just those of us who have always eaten this "type" eat this--and we both agree it is better than the other brands we used to eat.

Disgusting. I only eat light popcorn and this is by far the grossest I’ve tasted. Like the other reviewer said, they taste like styrofoam. But the worst part is they have a nasty oily flavor that I can’t even describe. Tossed the rest of the box. Total waste of money.

I like this for a lighter and healthier popcorn than other options. Price is great and it pops nicely. Not too much of a butter or salt flavor if that’s what you’re in to
