Lightweight Fragrance Free with Baking Soda Clumping Cat Litter - 13.5lbs - up&up™

This is definitely lightweight but I feel it doesn’t clump as well as other brands. What I do like is it is dust free.

Litter was changed.,package, and price. Doesn't clump as well, can't stand the stupid giant plastic bin and the price went up per lb. Bye bye. I switched to Fresh Step light weight at paet smart. Target is slowly running itself out of business.I used to shop there ALL THE TIME, they keep discontinuing and changing items...now I shop at Aldi.

Please stop changing the formula! Every time you change this you make it infinitely worse. New formula clumps weirdly and smells terrible.

I'm not sure if the formula changed, but my most recent order is definitely different, and not in a good way. Will need to find another product. Also, do not like the packaging. Not only is it a waste, but the handles keep pulling out.

This works well enough in our standard litter box but does not clump well enough for a litter robot.

The new release of the Up & Up litter seems to perform pretty well. My old lady cat pees a lot because of her chronic kidney disease and the litter contains it well. It also contains the biologic landmines my ginger boy drops pretty nicely. I am extremely disappointed that the only purchase options are the plastic bucket and plastic jug. I really liked the refill bags that could be purchased with the old stuff because it is a lot less waste to have to dispose of. The buckets take up an awful lot of room as do the jugs.

Do not buy, formula changed. Useless

new formula is terrible. i’ve been buying this up&up version for several years & the prior 2 kinds of lightweight litter they sold were decent, but this latest litter is terrible! it’s super dusty & almost foam-like. it also has a gross smell. luckily the cats don’t seem to mind it but i will not be repurchasing

I have multiple cats, and we have bought the Up & Up Lightweight Unscented for years. The recent shortage due to rebranding and changes have been disappointing. The litter is different, and the cats do not like it. It does not clump like it used to, or hold the smell at all like it previously did. Also, it is less litter for the same $. Sooo disappointing. Already looking for alternatives because it is not even close to the standard it was. Please change it back to avoid losing your long time users. I see other reviews as I feel.

Very disappointed!! This used to be my favorite litter and only one I would use for years. My cats preferred it over all name brands and although it wasn’t the best with tracking(but really what brand is?) it was lightweight, low dust, and the odor control was great all for a great price. So when I saw that it was out of stock across the board I was scared they were discontinuing it. A customer service agent assured me it was coming back in stock. I got a notification the other day that it was back at my local target so I ran to stock up only to find out they changed the formula. It is probably the worst litter I’ve ever tried. The dust is horrible. The litter itself has a horrible odor, even the unscented version. Had absolutely no odor control, and in my opinion made the smell worse. The clumping was almost non existent and due to its insanely lightweight texture it got everywhere in our house because it would stick to our cat when they got out. Needless to say I will not be purchasing again.

My cat is very picky about his litter. We’ve tried other lightweight brands but this is the only one he seems to tolerate because it doesn’t get caught between his toe pads. Love the lightweight as it makes it easier for me to carry.

I’ve used this in the past & loved it. I had to switch over to the regular weight version because I’m helping foster cats & kittens for a rescue and it’s just more affordable to use the regular one because of how much I use. I personally love the up & up kitty litter brand. I just wish the regular came in the bucket like it used too. I have my litter shipped to me because I’m over an hour away from a Target store. Keep offering great products!!!

Changes yet again. 13 lbs in a PLASTIC bucket? Why??? 40 lbs I can understand. Even if the litter was free my conscience wont let me use this. Target really? Hard plastic recycling is not readily available. Cant use them for anything. I used to give the 40 lb buckets to my neighbor. They have plenty now.

Target is at it again with shrinkflation. I’ve been buying this up&up lightweight for almost a decade. This litter was essentially a dollar per pound, and now target has upped the price again, which is very fitting for the brand. The bags that were 12 pounds were priced at $11.99 and now this awful version is $15.99 for 13.5 pounds? What a terrible value.
