- Linen Avenue Day/Night Shades allow NO light to pass through the lower blackout fabric. The upper pleated sheer fabric, attached to the top valance, allows visibility through the fabric. PRIVACY FACTOR: Lower: 5 out of 5, Upper: 2 out of 5. This is NOT a top-down bottom-up shade, the upper pleated sheer does NOT lower from the top rail!
- To install INSIDE mount: measure your window horizontally with a steel tape measure in three places; top, middle and bottom, use the smallest measurement, round down to the nearest half inch available. This is the size you will order, do not take any deductions. Your shade will arrive with a 1/4" deduction to ensure raising and lowering the shade in the window frame. Minimum depth required to install inside mount is 2 inches.
- To install OUTSIDE mount: Measure your window horizontally with a steel tape measure in three places; top, middle and bottom. Using the LARGEST measurement, add 2 to 4 inches and order this width. This will allow for an overlap on each side of the window to provide privacy, and you may want to add to the height for overlap. Your shade will arrive with a 1/4" deduction.
- Each Linen Avenue Cellular Shade has a smooth CORDLESS operation, making all shades child and pet safe! HARDWARE: End caps, simple snap-in top mount brackets, and mounting hardware is included. Headrail size: 1 5/8 High and 1 7/8 Deep (2 3/16” Deep with bracket).

Q: I am looking for a day/night shade but only 36 in long. Can the shade be brought up to 36in or does it have to hang 48 in long and how do you bring it up to 36 in without a cord?
A: Hello, Thank you for contacting us and for your interest in our products! Our shades can be brought up by simply pushing the bottom rail up. We also trim the order to size if you order the next size up. Once an order is placed simply send us an e-mail at customercare@linenavenue.com with the custom measurements and order number. Q: can the whole shade be open for day time? it shows it half and half.
A: What does this mean to retract the shade?

Q: Can you post a photo of the mounting brackets? I am trying to install on a door that has a window on it. I need to know how how far away the brackets put the blind from the window itself

Q: What does it mean to retract the shade?

Q: I want to use these for a sliding glass door. The measurements are 68 wide x 78 long. I only see a 72” length. Can you make them longer?
A: No we cannot make the height longer than what is stated.

Q: does the light filtering shade extend from top to bottom or only half way?

Q: Does the shade also go all the way up? The pictures show it down for light filtering out black out but not up.
A: Yes, the Day Night shade also goes all the way up to expose the entire window to the outdoors.
