Linen Sheet Set by Bare Home

This item is falsely advertised. It is not in fact certified with Oeko Tex after speaking with Oeko Tex, it is confirmed that this company Bare is using this claim in their listings to boast sales for their product. Fact is if the label and number are not on the item, then it is not considered to be Oeko Tex standard. Bare will tell you that they do not want to clutter up their products with tags, although their label is exceptionally large so this contradicts their explanation. That being said this is clearly an excuse for their dishonesty and false presentation in advertising their Bare products. No where on the sheets or package will you find the official Oeko Tex label. If you are concerned about the items that you sleep in or on being made with out toxic chemicals, pass on this company, as there is no official proof that they are not.

I wanted to like these sheets. I really did. I have been wanting real linen sheets but never bought them because of the cost. I decided to indulge and bought the split king (in white because that’s all that was available at the time). These sheets shed so much lint. I washed them twice before putting them on. I learned to live with the lint and just clean it up because I know that linen is much better for your skin. I have washed them twice more since using them. We don’t use these sheets very often because it is at our retirement home and we maybe spend 5-7 nights there eachmonth. I went to wash them today and there is a GIANT hole in one of the fitted sheets. It’s right in the middle on my husband’s side where his butt would be so I don’t think it could be a jagged toenail or anything like that. It’s past the window to return them but I would like to be contacted about replacing just one of the bottom fitted sheets. So disappointed.

Absolutely loved these sheets while they lasted! Unfortunately they didn’t even make it 6 months before the fitting sheet wore down and tore

They are wonderful. I love them. Just remember they are LINEN and will wrinkle, no matter. That's what linen does.

I LOVE these sheets! I am a big fan of linen sheets and have had linen for years but always brought them from West Elm. These are better silkier and thicker. I am going to get them in every color. They keep you cool at night and that is important for good sleep.

Love them, good thickness and cool. Took them out soon after dyer stops to avoid wrinkles.

Arrived today. Can already tell I’m going to like these. Thank you! Haven’t washed yet - hoping for the best. Packaged nicely too…

We have had these sheets for less than a year and the fitted sheet has already ripped.

Comes in a cute fabric tote that you could use for storage, if you wanted. Love it.

Color is completely off! I chose a color that should be a dark blue with maybe a green undertone. Very moody, very deep Royal feeling— I got denim blue. I would not have paid $160 for sheets that are light denim blue. If you are buying a white/beige/or black I’m sure the sheets are fine. If you are buying a color it’s not worth it!

I was surprised to see the negative reviews. I came back online to order another set because we love our sheets. We purchased a king size set in the white. The white is not a true white but more like an unbleached linen or off-white color. We wash them in cold or lukewarm water, not hot and have had no shrinking. Since they are linen they do wrinkle, but we don’t mind. The king sized pillowcases fit fine, and the fitted sheet is suitable for a deep mattress. I only wish I could get an additional set of pillowcases.

Sheets shrunk once dried and now they don’t stay on the mattress! So much for deep pockets !

sheet set is great EXCEPT for the pillowcases! normally when I buy a queen set, I get queen pillowcases...not this set... standard that are way too short in length for my pillows...I hate to have mismatched pillowcases with my sheets, so this set is pretty much worthless!

I haven't put them on my bed yeat but they feel quite nice. As expected. I love linen sheets and have slept on linen for years. But I just want to add that "indigo" is not the actual color you'll get. I thought that maybe a wrong picture was posted or something, but no. They look like the picture. Indigo is actually a deep dark blue. These sheets are kind of a dove gray with just a hint of blue. If you put them next to something gray, then you can see how they are a bit blue-ish. Strange!
