It stunk which I knew it would based on what it is and other reviews however a few weeks after spraying it our yard was so infested with flies it was as if we owned livestock, in the city.

I have used this stuff for three years and it really works for rabbits. I can't say about deer because I don't have any here in town but from the way this stuff stinks ...if it tastes like it smells nothing would eat it. It does dry odorless. But I would not put it on the fruit or vegetable if it is ready to eat because I think the smell comes back when it gets wet again like when you would wash the harvest. But get it on your plants when they are small and then the animals get used to the idea that stuff is not to eat and they will be long gone when its time to harvest.
