So frustrating for my 5 year old to try to work it out

Did not have get it to go. At first I thought I got a defect one but when I read reviews I guess it comes like this. I had bought every little tyke product there is for my children 20;years ago and now for my grand babies and I can say I'm very disappointed. .y granddaughter cried on her birthday so bad yesterday because she was disappointed.im out of all this money now

Bought for my 4 year old’s birthday gift and it does not operate for crap. He tried so hard to get it to start moving, and it almost tipped forward. I don’t find it safe when I see things like that. Not worth the money it costs.

Does not work properly. None of my children could get it to turn. Do not recommend to anyone!

Those 5 and 4 star reviews either relate to the owner of Little Tikes or got paid to promote it. Please believe me when I say don’t waste your money or time. My 4 and 10 year old had a difficult time trying to get this “scooter” to move . It move so slow you’ll think you imagining it! Who ever the project manager over this product needs to be fired because this was a waste!

The quality is bad I was expecting much better.

Would not recommend this at all. Got this scooter for my three year old for Christmas and it was very hard for him to do and would not work properly. My 8 year old even tried it and it would not go forward properly.

It took my 5 year old a couple days to get confident with it. My 3 year old desperately wants to explore it, but she's too light/short. Definitely recommend testing outside or in an open room as the turning takes some getting used to.

She was timid at first since she was not used to anything power-operated, and it takes some trial and error with learning how to turn and accelerate. It doesn't go too fast, so mamas don't need to be nervous. Having said that, it has a slow get up and go, so kids can be impatient waiting for it to move. It doesn't stay charged for super long and it's a bit bulky for storage. If we had a bigger driveway or open space to use it, I'm sure it would get used more often. I like that the handlebars are adjustable so it fits both my toddlers. Pretty creative stuff from Little Tikes!

My 3.5-year-old is still too light for it, but my 5-year-old can manage it pretty well. To start moving you have to lean a tad bit forward and the hoverboards take a few seconds to start moving. I like it because it doesn’t speed up immediately. The assembly was super fast and easy but you need space to be able to turn with it.

She is 4, so not really able to do one without a handle. This is the PERFECT idea for little kids. After a few teaching sessions she has it down! You lean in the direction you want to turn, which makes it easy for small children. The speed is perfect for her. Not too fast and not too slow. The directions included were extremely helpful and easy to understand. I appreciate how easy it was to assemble. We had no problems because of the clear directions. This product is great! I highly recommend. It is perfect for my daughters age and it teaching her balance and coordination. I have no complaints. This is perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a fun hoverboard for our kids to play with. I would say that the age group that this product is best for is between 4-6 years olds. This does not go very fast, which is good for younger kids but my almost 8 year old complains that it goes too slow and does not like using it because if that. The center handle helps provide a nice support. The part of this product that we do not like is that the users feet have to push in a specific way/place to make this product move. If the pressure of their feet is not just right on the board, it will stop. The product does have good safety features which help prevent it from flipping forward.

It is not only his favorite color, but according to him, it goes "super fast." I like the fact that the Hoverboard required no fancy setup and was easy to operate. My son was able to go forward, stop and turn within minutes of setting it up. The only function that required a little more time for him to master, was making a full 360 turn. Overall, I am truly impressed with the Lean to turn Hoverboard and would definitely recommend it to other families.

The speed is enough to give your child just the right amount of adrenaline as they learn the fundamentals of leaning forward, sideways and pulling back. Definitely a fun product for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We took our grandsons to the park this past weekend, ages 5 and 7. They tried out the Little Tikes - Lean to Turn Hoverboard. They had so much fun taking turns on the hoverboard. Our 7 year old was able to make some impressive turns and maneuvers, and our 5 year old was happy to just keep her balance and go around a corner! As with all action toys, this definitely requires adult supervision, even if its only going 2 MPH. We appreciated the flexibility it had in making turns and the adjustable handlebars to accommodate different heights in our grandchildren. This would make a wonderful Christmas or birthday gift for a special kid in your life!
