Bought as our "big" Xmas present. Worked great, kid loved it. We set it on the shelf while out of town and today the kid got it out to play and the frog doesn't work with the spell book or pushing it's crown button. New batteries and still the same issue. This was one of their most favorite playsets and they and I are very disappointed.

My grandkids LOVE this! I bought another for my daughter’s kids and one for my sister’s kids. My sister put it out at a family reunion and this was played with the most. I highly recommend this! One thing I wish is for additional spells to make or to make some of the current spells used in other ways (Love potion spell, wish to come true spell, etc)

Incredibly disappointed with this purchase. Our daughter has had this since Christmas and it already has a problem with the electronics. Sounds get stuck in a loop as though you're flipping through the 'pages' despite not even touching it. You can't do any of the spells because it just keeps looping. I assumed it just needed new batteries so after a couple of weeks of her just 'playing' with it, today I changed out the batteries. Despite using brand new batteries the issue was not resolved. I was disappointed with the price to begin with but for it to have started having electronic issues after a couple weeks of periodic play?! Absolutely appalling.

This thing is so cool but we have lost a LOT of the parts, and it looks like we cant get replacements which is REALLY unfortunate. Me and my kid are really upset about it.

We played with it for a day and my daughter loved it. But we went to play with it again and the frog stopped working. Something is wrong with the sensor. It was a gift, so we have no way to exchange it.

This was a Christmas gift for my girls and they absolutely loved it in the beginning. Unfortunately the main play feature stopped working about 6 months into owning it. The toy will light up and make noise, but no matter what we've tried when you pour the water onto the frog it no longer makes noises or interacts with the corresponding pages the book is opened to, which was what makes this toy extra fun. It's extremely disappointing to spend so much money on an interactive toy only to be met with it not working properly. Toys are outrageously expensive as it is, so when you spend a ton of money on just one you would think it would work and last. Guess those days are over.

I bought this for Christmas and already out isn't working. This is a huge disappointment as it was our big present. When you pour the water on it nothing happens anymore. I'm not sure if a sensor is broken or what. All the lights and buttons work just not the water. Save your money.

It's just ok. For the price I would have expected it to be bigger. It's also loud, with no way to control the volume. This was one of my "bigger" Christmas gifts, but my it doesn't really hold my kids' interest (ages 3 and 5). There are much "smaller" and cheaper gifts I bought that I figured would just be filler that have wound up providing them much more play than this one. Maybe around Halloween it will be a bigger hit....
Incredibly fun. Kids love the water element.

Santa delivered this gift but aside from the cauldron button that makes things light up and plays sounds, none of the spells work nor do the buttons work. I've tried new batteries, switch on/off/try me and nothing works. A real bummer and they're sold out so no replacement.

My daughter was really excited when she got this for Christmas. She loves playing with it but after only a week the front button stopped working and the frog is hit or miss. I really do wish it worked better because she likes it so much.

Our first unit did not register page turns properly and continually played a single frog action (it was not in demo mode). We received a second unit and the pages of the book don't even lay flat and only register page turns once in a while, so it also continually plays the same frog action again and again. It's clear that the button that the pages are supposed to compress are not all being pushed down enough because the pages don't lay flat. For the value of this toy, I expected it to work. Will avoid all LT electronic toys in the future.
