Mehhh…I’m actually from the Midwest…please do not call yourself Midwest honey when you are selling honey out of Colorado…lol! My advice is to buy your honey local. There are beekeepers all over the country. There’s never a need to waste your money on honey at the grocery store.

Good taste but it turned to a sugary, thick texture very quickly. We couldn’t squeeze any out of the tube.

Thanks for buying our product. We are sorry to hear about the recent experience you had with our honey. Changes in texture sometimes occur due to natural processes like crystallization, especially in raw and unfiltered honey. To decrystallize honey, place the honey upright in a small bowl. Fill the bowl with warm water at least half way up the container. Leave the honey in the warm water for around 30 minutes, replacing with warm water if needed. We hope this helps you enjoy your honey! Our process ensures that the natural state of honey remains intact to provide the pollen, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals inherent to raw and unfiltered honey; it is not pasteurized at any point in the production. Honey that has been heated at high temperatures and pasteurized will never crystallize. But that convenience comes at the cost of all of the nutritional value inherent in the raw honey.

I don't like honey generally because I find it overly sweet and sometimes too strong. I've learned that this artificial taste is a result of likely added sugars and nonhoney sweeteners snuck into a product that lists more than one country of origin. This honey purports to be 100% honey that is local (just barely) to my region. It's delicious. I can eat it plain or spoon it into yogurt, and it's delightful. I made challah with it, and it's the best challah I've made, with the floral notes from the honey shining through but not overpowering. I'm afraid my local Target will run out, so I've bought extra for my baking.

The taste and texture of this honey is wonderful. It flows nicely out of the bottle that's plastic I wish it was glass. It's smooth and creamy and has the best honey flavor. Some honeys are very hard and they don't come out of the bottle very well; if it's plastic. I can't say enough good things about it. Smooth creamy and taste like honey.

Good honey, I live in Nebraska so Midwest honey should include Nebraska :). Honey , esp in my area , Midwest, should help with allergies also. Will continue to buy, and buy for family.

I always prefer raw & unfiltered honey so that I can still reap all the benefits. This was so no different. Absolutely great taste. Sweet and natural tasting honey. It was nice to try local honey to the Midwest since I live in California. I will definitely purchase this again!

The product came in an attractive bottle, lots of good info on where it is from etc. The taste was great, you can tell it is fresh. I would very much recommend this honey for tea and anything else you would typically use it with.

We use honey in our house for all kinds of things from tea to dipping apples in. This honey is super smooth, it is not gritty like most other honey's. Our daughter spent a week eating apples with honey after her first taste of Local Hive.

As a vivid honey lover I was happy to get and try something new. This honey happen to be local to my area (you know that it is better to eat local honey to have all protection it can offer).
