If you ever feel lost or just don’t know where to start looking maybe Reid looking for Alaska. It’s a subtle reminder of that. It’s OK to feel lost every once in a while and it’s OK not to get the answers we’re looking for. A perfect book for a struggling teen, who may just need, some thing to take their mind off the world. As an ELA teacher I bought this for one of my students to read who seemed to be going through a tough time. She really enjoyed it and I told her to keep it and hand it off to somebody else you might need it one day. John Green is a master of helping teens through tough times and parents if they read the books, potentially understand what their team might be going through.

I bought this book after watching the show on Hulu. It is such an amazing story. The literary devices Green uses are cool. I definitely recommend also watching the show!
