Q: How do you open it? Does anyone else have problems trying to pull it apart?
A: The lid is extremely difficult to take off the infuser…I can’t imagine if it was actually hot!

Q: Can i use this with loose coffee beans or coffee grinds to make coffee
A: Hi, Harley Quinn - Thanks for asking! This loose leaf tea strainer is not recommended for grinding coffee, tea strainers are designed to hold tea leaves while allowing hot water to pass through, it does not has the mechanism to crush or grind coffee beans. For coffee a proper coffee grinder is highly recommended. Have a great day! - Rob

Q: Can you make one without color? Is the goldtone safe to use to let it sit in hot water all day? Will over time the gold tone rub off into the hot water?
A: Nachotaco - Thank you for your question. The gold will hold up to hot liquid for its intended use as a tea leaf strainer. It is not recommended for dishwasher use but it okay for hot liquids. We do recommend drying properly before storing for extended periods of time. I hope this helps. - Kate

Q: Is the stainless steel made from 304 or 316 stainless steel?
Q: Item description says it is stainless steel, but where does the gold color come from? There must be something over the steel.
