The Love To Dream Swaddle UP Transition Bag is designed to transition your baby from swaddled sleeping to arms-free sleeping. Parents know that swaddling their newborns is important. Babies between two to three months grow fast, and when they are able to roll over or show signs that their startle reflex has diminished, they are ready to be transitioned from swaddling to arms-free sleeping. But this transition can sometimes be hard because babies may still have some startle reflex present and they are used to being swaddled. The Love To Dream team designed the Swaddle UP Transition Bag, formerly called Swaddle UP 50/50, – which is Stage 2 in Love To Dream’s 3 Stage Sleep System - to make this transition easy for both baby and parents. The Swaddle UP Transition Bag shares the same features as the Swaddle UP Original, but with the added versatility of patented zip-off wings. The Swaddle UP Transition Bag will gently transition your baby from sleeping snuggly swaddled towards having the independence of sleeping with his or her arms free. The zipper design makes it easy to go back to the original swaddle design if your baby is not ready to transition. Once your little one is comfortable with both wings removed, the Swaddle UP Transition Bag can be used like a snug and comfy wearable blanket, but with baby still feeling swaddled. Since 2008, Love To Dream has been finding simple, yet genius solutions to everyday parenting and baby needs. Our desire was always to create products that looked great and more importantly provided a solution to a parenting challenge. The best news of all is that our products work! So everyone in the family will achieve a better night’s sleep. Functionality, usefulness and innovation are key for Love To Dream. It is vital that we offer products to parents (just like us) that will make their lives simpler and less stressful.

Summary of reviews
The transition sleep sack offers a soft and comfortable fabric that many guests appreciate for helping their babies sleep better. It is particularly praised for its versatility, allowing babies to transition from swaddling with arms down to arms up. However, some guests have raised concerns about the design, particularly around the neck and arm areas, which may not fit comfortably for all babies.

Such a life saver! Our 2mo started to break out of swaddling and really hate it. I was looking for a transition swaddle and found this one. She slept so well last night without trying to break out or being startled.

The fabric of this transition sleep sack is great but the design is terrible. The area around my babies neck pushes back way too much and the further he lifts his arms the worse it gets. The arm area is also extremely small and doesn’t look comfortable at all. I personally don’t think these should be sold until this is fixed it’s dangerous.

I tried ordering the swaddle on Amazon and on target and my Amazon order got "Lost" and so I just got a refund, and my target order said it was gonna be delivered two days ago, and it still hasn't. I don't know what the problem is. it's very annoying as I need this to get a good nights sleep, but for some reason it can never arrive to my house.

I absolutely loved this swaddle at first. Then one night I noticed my baby lifted her arms up and the swaddle neck area completely covered her mouth and nose! I’m lucky I noticed before going to bed! I have the correct size as well

Seems comfortable for my baby, and the fit is good according to weight. I like that it has a TOG rating as it makes it easier to know how to dress baby underneath. I like the zip off feature so it’ll be easier to transition from swaddling once the time comes.
Best thing ever!

We absolutely loved our newborn swaddle up and this really helped our son transition into not having his arms inside a swaddle
Neckline is choking hazard

I’m not sure why there aren’t more reviews mentioning the terrible neckline design. I feel like it should be a choking hazard. I bought the correct size for my baby based on the size chart but the neckline is so tiny that it digs into the back of his neck. For reference, my baby is 14 lbs and 24.5”. There is no pull to the neckline and I can’t even fit one finger between the neckline and my baby’s neck. If he pulls his hands to his mouth to soothe, it is even much worse. I do not recommend this product at all.

This swaddle has been so helpful in helping our baby transition from being traditionally swaddled with her arms down. At 3 1/2 months, she no longer wants to be swaddled with her arms down, but she still has a pretty strong startle reflex - so sleep was becoming very difficult again! She seems to really like this Love to Dream swaddle, because she can have her arms up, and use her hands to self-soothe if she wants to, but it still helps with her startle reflex and with feeling snug and secure. This has been a life saver for us so far!

This is an amazing swaddle, my little one did not like her arms swaddled in so it actually helped us get her to be okay with her arms in. Material is so soft, would highly recommend!

Got this when my baby was too big for his newborn swaddles around 12 pounds and he is now 14/15 pounds wearing it without the arm sleeves. Perfect for when we don’t co-sleep and he needs his own blanket

Helped my baby sleep longer stretches at night. Soft and comfortable. Fits well, except seems a bit tight around the front of his neck when zippered all the way up, therefore I leave the zipper slightly down. Will recommend for any new parent.

3 month old loves it. She already loves sleeping with arms up, but this way she doesn’t wake herself. Also, I do like you can take the arms off so she can soothe herself. It’s also very breathable, and you can always layer your baby up if needed to.

Unless your baby is ready to have their arms unzipped do not get this swaddle. The arm sleeves are so small that when your baby stretches their arms above their head it pulls the swaddle up into their neck. The wings do not go high enough for your baby to sleep comfortably with their hands by their head. We used the non-transition one and the sleeves were much bigger and we liked that one. This one just doesn’t work well.

My baby loves this swaddle because she can keep her arms up. She can easily stretch and move her legs in it while sleeping. I have not taken the arms off yet but hoping the zipper doesn't annoy her when I do.
