Loving Tan 2hr Express Self Tanning Mousse - 4 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

For years, I worked As a supervisor at a tanning salon. I was one of the top sellers in my company and I specialized in self tanning/spray tans. I started Self tanning when JWoww came out with her sunless spray. I bought nearly 20 bottles of that messy stuff before it was discontinued. I then switched to Cal Tan sunless mousse and actually modeled that product for New Sunshine. I loved it until I found this product. If you know what you're doing, this stuff works great! It is a natural looking color. No orange. My husband makes fun of me for living in FL and being super pale and I use ultra dark. I get a nice, dark result with this. The best thing you can do is exfoliate, shave, then apply this to DRY skin. No lotion. It absorbs so much better and you're left with better color results. For my face, I do all my skincare then apply the self tanner with a makeup brush and it looks so good! I have tried the facial product from Loving Tan and I am not a fan. Use a mitt because this stuff stains your hands instantly if you don't. It does not streak so you can use circular motions or however you want really. Be sure to shower with sulfate free products and moisturize daily to help it last.

I purchased this in a pinch for a weekend getaway and despite applying it the night before we left, it was almost completely gone within 36 hours. The application itself is tricky because it is not easy to buff into the skin (I used their mitt), and it takes a while to dry down. Of course it stinks, never met a tanner that didn't. But overall, I am so disappointed and was really hoping it would work for me as I'd love to have an express formula. I even tried letting it sit for longer than the 2 hours but no luck; the "dark" is just not dark and I'm sure that is a contributing factor to how quickly the color dissipates.

For the price of this self tanner, it is just not it. While the color guide is very helpful and it dries quickly, it doesn't last/fades quickly. It tends to end up streaky as well. Loving Tan needs to fix the formula or drop the price.

I have tried 6-7 tans like most people and this is hands down the best. Looks natural and beautiful and doesnt have that horrible smell.

I was scared to use this because my skin super fair, but im glad I did! It's so good and the best loving tan product I've tried! I will say, this is a trust the process tan. You'll rinse after two hours and think it's horrible because you have no color, but it's still developing. When you wake up the next day the color is literal perfection! Like I said, my skin ia very fair and the color is so natural on me!

I have tried so many tans. I usually try to keep them on the cheaper side because i dont like wasting money but i have either never gotten dark or gotten orange with an undertone of dark. I was running out of the self tan i used, even though it wasn't good and decided to find a new one. For weeks i researched, read reveiws, watched videos and more. After going through 10-15 different self tans wanting a good one but trying to keep it on the affordable side i just couldnt find one that was perfect. Until i found this one! Every reveiw i had read was amazing, the youtube videos i watched had great wear tests, great reveiws and a good look. After about a week i decided to bite the bullet and buy it. I was very excited to get it in and wanted to do a full reveiw on it so i made sure to not have any old self tan on hendering my results. When first applying i noticed it smelled amazing! It smelled like tanning lotion and coconuts. I have never been bothered with self tan smell but this made it so much more enjoyable. The day i did it i only had one hour to let it sit so i was really putting it to the test. After an hour i rinsed and felt it wasnt dark enough and i thought about putting another layer on before i left. In the end i didnt beacuse i had read it gets darker over time after you rinsed it off. Sure enough a couple hours later i was nice and dark. I love this tan especially beacuse it blends easily, isnt streaky, dries fast, smells amazing, is an express tan, and DOSENT TURN ORANGE. This tan has not turned orange at all. My hands look AMAZING they dont have a bunch of product at the cuticle area, my knuckles arent crackly, and it dosent look fake. If you were to look at me you would think my tan was real. So if you need a new self tan i 110% reccomend this one. It is a bit pricy but the results are totally worth it!

Ive been self tanning for abt a yr now and at first I tried b tan glow your own way. I was orange and it came off really fast and splotchy. So then I decided I was gonna step up my game and try loving tan. The color is beautiful and yes when you wash it off you think , oh my gosh where did all my tan go. I promise it didn't leave lol it will come back bronze and beautiful. The only problem I have is that the mousse will stick to any and every dry area . So EXFOLIATING AND LOTION is your best friends when you use this stuff. But even after all that I would recommend using very very little on dry areas. And yes the product drys really fast when applied but don't be nervous it will come out looking better than expected.

I honestly liked how it came out! Im a pale asian girly and the color turned beautifully on me. I made sure to exfoliate, shave, and moisturize first and that set me up pretty well! No blotches or patchiness!!! Its super forgiving which i love.

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but I have to for this. I have never been good at self-tanning, and I also didn't like the orange look most self-tanners give. However, this one is awesome! I did watch a lot of youtube videos as to application techniques and tips, and I do leave it on overnight before showering. My husband even enjoys doing my back:) I purchased the Loving Tan applicator mitt, which I love and recommend. I also use it on my face, mix with a bit of water gel moisturizer and blend on with a mid size kabuki brush. No breakouts at all! This is my new answer to a tan!

Specifically paid double the price of other products because this claimed to be express and washed off after 2 hours. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Not a single ounce of pigment stayed. My skin looks no different. Will be returning.

For this being expensive i expected more. Blends terrible, thw color is ok but its streaky and awful do not revommend.

I asked for a recommendation and the young lady suggested this brand (I've used St.Tropez before, long time ago). It goes on fine with a mitten, does not smell at first but after I took a shower I noticed an orange tint and that nasty smell.

I have been self tanning for many years and ive heard great things about this tan so i thought i would give it a try. The first few times i used this tan i was blown away. It had no smell and faded without the usual patchy look. However, it didnt last very long and the packaging leaked. The second bottle i bought was when it really went down hill. I repurchased because i loved it, but when i used it again, the tan smelled stronger, stuck really bad to my drier areas, and honestly looked like i just rubbed mud and dirt all over. When it was fading, it was super patchy and hard to remove. I reccomend bondi sands or st tropez extra dark over this tan.

As a cool toned, very pink undertoned skinned person, the medium 2 hour express tanning mousse is amazing... Gone are the "Umpa Lumpa" self tanning days where you come out looking orange... it's a beautiful pinky brown colour that matches my skin tone perfectly. THe thing to know about the two hour express is that the colour guide, is BEYOND streaky.... that does not matter. After you wash it off, the resulting tan is perfect. The colour guide is just to let you know you've applied it all over... The more you add, if you think you've missed a spot, the more streaky it looks... but that is JUST the colour guide, and does not affect the finished tan. Obviously, make sure you have prepped your skin... I always shower first and make sure I have used a sugar scrub or similar to thoroughly exfoliate my skin so my tan lasts a good seven days... this product is amazing, I do my entire body, face, hands, feet included!

This has to be the worst fake tan i have ever used. SO streaky and patching. I have tried to make it look good several times and it Never looks good. SO expensive for no reason. I would recommend the coco and eve tanning ; it comes with a mit and is nit as expensive. It smells very good too!

give you the most natural tan, not patchy, and most importantly not orange!!

I usually get the Loving Tan that needs to develop overnight, but recently i've been loving how convenient the 2hr express is. For me, it doesn't last as long as the regular Loving Tan, but it still works very well.

I don't know why this has so many bad reviews I LOVE it!!! I'm so impressed by this product! I have VERY sensitive skin prone to eczema patches and irritation. This did not irritate my skin whatsoever. I hateeeeeee sleeping in my self tanner so this is a perfect option!! It says wash off after 2 hrs I do 3 but it washes off and there is still so much color! I applied it Saturday morning its Tuesday and the color is still here. I take a shower every morning and night so that's saying a lot. I really have nothing bad to say besides it's expensive BUT worth it to me! I have used many self tanners this is my by far favorite one and only one I will be using from now on.

This is actually the best product. I never write reviews, but this genuinely is the only fake tan that doesn't leave you with streaks feeling gross and orange. It is perfect 10/10

I would consider myself an experienced fake tanner, I've tried every brand ever. This was sadly a disappointment. Not express, have to leave on for 3+ to achieve any sort of color, and WAY too expensive considering it takes half the bottle for 1 application.
