Q: How long do I need to wait for my mattress to expand before I sleep on it?

A: Hello customer! This mattress comes compressed for convenience and should fully expand within 48 hours. If a lot of weight was placed on the box during transit, it can sometimes take a little longer and it is recommend to massage any areas that seem stuck as the foam may have gotten pinched. If you experience any issues with your mattress expanding, please contact Lucid directly at: online@lucidmattress.com. They back this mattress with a 10-year warranty and will assist you right away. I cannot recommend this LUCID Comfort Collection mattress. The 1st night of use, it sagged. I woke up with a lower back ache. When looking at the mattress from the side, I could see the indentation from my body. Mind you, I only weigh 100 lbs. I ordered a different brand from a competitor, which took approximately one week to receive. Then, I had to physically get this unravelled mattress to a Target store - No easy feat! The front desk was surprised, but couldn't have made the return any easier ... Thank you!

Can you tell us how long this mattress had been opened when it was first tried and what kind of bed base it was used on? This mattress ships compressed and can take up to 48 hours to properly expand. This mattress should not sag when it has fully expanded and is used on a proper base.
