Lucid Hearing Engage OTC Behind The Ear Streaming Android Hearing Aid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product took a bit to set up on my iphone, but once I did, they Worked well. I have mild to mid job related hearing loss. Held a charge which was very nice. It is great to now have lower priced options, and this product worked very well for that. They are discreet when worn, which is also important for many , but in particular for women.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to advancing age and not wearing enough hearing protection in my youth, I am experiencing increasingly noticeable hearing loss. Thinking that it's not bad enough to warrant prescription aids, I have tried "hearing amplifiers" in the past with mixed results. While they do indeed work, they have just a volume control; no other options. I decided to give these hearing aids a try after seeing that they are configurable from my phone. I will say that I am impressed with the difference from what I had before. I can adjust the settings for both ears together or individually. I have more loss in one ear that the other, and not having to try to adjust a basic volume control with my big fingers is a real joy. The only thing I wish I had done differently is gotten the rechargeable version of these. the batteries that these take (a #13 cell each) are pretty small for me to handle. If you too have a bit of arthritis or such, I would recommend changing the batteries over a towel on the table. This prevents them from bouncing away if dropped. I have a friend with similar non-over-the-counter aids that just a few years ago cost him 1000's of dollars, even with insurance. These are a nice alternative for a lot less money!

The problem was I evidently didn't have the right "sizer" installed and while I was outside taking care of animals, the aid fell out of my ear. I didn't notice it until I came back in the house and my wife spoke to me. I was never able to find the one I lost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Engage Premium OTC Hearing Aids work fine for OTC Hearing aids. There are some draw backs. The non rechargeable batteries don't last long. They can be adjusted manually or with the app. The app must be blue tooth connected & requires some tech ability. The app's customer service phone # doesn't work, but the # in the manual does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trying for over two weeks to get the Lucid hearing aids loud enough for me. I downloaded the app, and got it working. I was looking forward to being able to customize them in any situation from my own phone. I looked them up and it says for slight to moderate hearing loss.. My hearing must be much worse than I thought. I will pass these on to a family member because they are to good to not use. If you have a stronger model let me know.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This product is definitely a high quality hearing aid. I know my family has been telling me that my hearing is definitely going downhill. I absolutely love these. They're practically invisible and the only people that know I'm wearing them are people that I've told. Great, comfortable, nearly invisible. Ni would definitely recommend these to friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these, at first until you get used to them it will sound tinny, but I can hear frequencies I haven't heard in a long time. They are small and can't see them. I would recommend these most definitely.

Hearing aids can be very expensive so this was a lower cost alternative to augment my perceived hearing issues. This product has a basic hearing test included as well as an app to fine tune the device to your particular needs. It is very nice. * Word of caution though. Be VERY careful while fitting this to your ear canal. Make sure the silicone buds are in fact secured to the device. I did not and spent the evening in the local ER having the bud removed from my ear canal. This was NOT a product fault or flaw. This was completely my fault. This is a great product despite my shortcomings.

I am wearing these now and I must say I am surprised at the sound quality. I had no idea of the sounds I was missing. Easy to install the app to help set these up. I highly recommend these to anyone.

This set has everything you need to get started including batteries. They are small and discreet but get the job done. They are also comfortable to wear. Great set to have without having to go to a professional.

It was fairly easy to use the app. The batteries were easy to install. It would be nice to have rechargeable batteries rather than the replaceable batteries.

I have a hard time hearing the tv at a normal level and conversations on the phone are difficult. I really like the hearing aids. Easy to use and comfortable. I barely realize i have them on. Very high quality and effective. My husband is happy to be able to talk to me from another room. The volume adjustment takes a minute to get just right. Love these and wear daily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lucid Engage OTC aids are a great back up for me. It took me many e mails with the Tech Dept. to finally get them to pair on my phone. I found the volume to be a little low for my type of hearing loss but I'm sure if someone is just having a slight loss these would be a great value. The Tech dept. is fantastic to work with. They get back to ASAP and continue to work with you during the whole process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lucid hearing Engage premium over the counter hearing aids work great. Easy to setup and operate. The only con is that they are very noticeable. The one other thing is one has fallen out while eating and concerned about losing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been having difficulties hearing for awhile. When I first inserted the Lucid Tala hearing aids I was amazed how much better I could hear. The hearing aids were defaulted at moderate which actually was to sensitive and I was hearing every little background noise. With the Lucid app I was able to change the default configuration from moderate to mild and adjust the volume for each ear. What is also nice with the app you can do a sweep of the frequencies and adjust. There were some frequencies I could not hear until I made changes. Also the hearing aids come with an assortment of ear tips so you can find the perfect fit for your ears. They also come with tools to help maintain the hearing aids. Hearing aids charge in their case which has a USB-C connection. It does take some time and use to adjust settings so you have the perfect sound settings.

Engage was convenient given their location and the type of hearing aid they have. I got their Lucid model and it's behind the ear. It's good and I like it. I like the fact that I can hear better. I would purchase these again in a heartbeat.

They work fine but what I really wanted was the medium size. Your online catalogue is confusing as to sizes of domes.
