Q: The photos in the listing SHOW BLACK STRIPES but no where in any of the reviews even on other websites does any BLACK show in any reviews? my thought is this is a knock off on someone else's original that HAD BLACK STRIPES ????

It has quilt-like stitching but has not inner fill and is too thin to be anything other than a blanket. I will be using mine as a blanket on the couch in the living room. I see no other purpose for it. I did give it 3 stars, however, because, as a "blanket," it has a really nice pattern is a good size so it does offer some value in that regard. Love the colors of this quilt. It's more like a coverlet in weight. Colors are vibrant but it does fade with washing. After about 10 washes, it started to pill real bad. Feels like sand is on the bed. I bought a fabric shaver and that works well. I put up with these things because I love the look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed an extra set for our guest room so we got this. It works well, and is nice and comfortable. The comforter has a nice, quality feel to it. Definitely feels like it will last for a while and not get torn or ripped up easily. That's generally why I prefer quilted things instead of stuffed blankets that are made of silk or cotton or poly whatever. The aesthetic doesn't really fit our general look, but that's ok. It's for a guest room, so not a deal breaker for us - right now. Overall, a nice product, with a good quality build, that will do the trick for our guests - which we host frequently.

It’s perfect for year round use (and I get four distinct seasons where I live in Illinois). The quality of the fabric is high grades. It looks and feels soft and durable. It’s made to last a long time. I washed it right out of the packaging and the colors stayed as vibrant as when I opened the pack. My favorite part of the quilt is the fact that it’s double sided! All I did was flip it over and I felt like I had a new bedroom set.
