MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eyeshadow - Ulta Beauty

I have oily lids and always use a primer. I decided to go no primer and it lasted 12 hours with no creasing. Even at the end of the night, my eye look was still there! Bougie has a green shift, and I'm going to get another color. Major game changer to get this!

I use this as a eyeshadow base. It goes on smooth applying with my finger. The color Painterly is what I purchased and it is a great, basic nude color that covers the eyelid nicely without standing out too much. My eyeshadow wears great over it. May have to buy some colors that I would use as an actual eyeshadow.

Texture is smooth, but the soft ochre color is MUCH paler and less pigmented in real life. They either need to have pictures that are true to life or have a box that isn't fully opaque so that you can see what you're getting. This is too expensive to be getting a useless color because of deceptive photos

Tailor Grey is not grey at all, more of a washed out brown that doesn't really even show up on my eyelids. I returned it.

I have neutral skin but lean warm. Because of this ordering Taylor Grey was taking a change but I am soooo glad tried this! Taylor Grey is the prefect shadow that looks like a true "shadow" on my lids adding depth and color but looks like I am wearing nothing at all as my lids are pretty pigmented already.. Instead of a "my lips but better" this is the perfect "my lids but better" shade with a hind of lavender I have always wanted. It buffs on with a brush perfectly and is very low maintenance. I don't bother with a primer and this shadow never creases or disappoints - but I do have a hard time layering other shadows on over, it gets really dry looking and feeling and the second product won't blend well over the paint pot so I don't see this as the perfect base but instead it is a "one and done" shadow of my dreams. I love that this paint pot plays well with my skincare and SFP under it, as many of my other cream product have issues with the lotions and potions I apply before but this pot does not. I have so many cream eyeshadows but Taylor Grey is the only thing I am reaching for these days and will absolute replace when I finish the pot. Please continue to offer this shade, it will be a very dark day for for me if it is ever discontinued.

I've been using this since 2010. Nothing has surpassed it. Creamy, smooths out the eye, brightens it, everything sticks, it's waterproof, stuff is amazing

Great color it's like the classic 90's taupe/grey. Only thing I will say is that it needs to be set with a powder because it does crease.

The duo chrome in this is beautiful! It really is stunning and adds so much to the lids.

I found this formula dry, and I didn't like how it wore throughout the day.

Great shade for all over lid

This product is my go-to for a daily smoky eye. It works fine using just your finger, but with a blending brush you can feather it out. It's easy to learn to blend, and it stays in place and doesn't get an oily sheen.

This products blends great and helped keep my lids from getting greasy and smudging or creasing. It works when applied with your finger, but I think it works best with a mid-size fluffy blending brush, especially for the eye area. It also functions as a nice subtle contour for smaller parts of the face.
