These don’t taste like a madeleine or a brownie, they’re basically tasteless. The previous version of these were so much better. They were traditionally madeleine shaped with an eggy cake like texture and delicious chocolatey brownie in one bite.

Wheres the quality control!? Spit this out when I took a bite but it was too late. Whatever was inside the cookie filled my mouth with bitterness and sourness like a vitamin c pill but bitter. Rancid walnut? Stray candy? A pill of some sort? I have no idea. I was about to give my kids a cookie! So glad I didn’t. Kind of makes me lose trust in this brand! I still don’t know what I ingested.

The madeleine part was perfect but the undercooked gooey texture of the brownie part was off putting for me, and every single one had the combination of well-baked madeleine and slightly raw brownie. Their recipe needs some work.
