**Very** unhappy that Maggi/Nestles suddenly and recently changed the primary base in the granulated chicken bouillon (Caldo Sabor A Pollo) from cornstarch to wheat flour. Now it doesn't produce the results in the way I use it commercially. Switching immediately to another brand.

By having just the bullion itself you're able to boil up some chicken broth which you can use just on its own or full on chicken noodle soup with vegetables. I love using it for soups and also add flavor to meals. I add this base to also Mexican rice, chicken for tacos, arroz caldo ( rice porridge) salsas, beans.. The list is endless!

I cook a lot of Mexican foods and this bouillon powder gives it that authentic flavor. The flavor is light and not too salty like most. It is easy to use and very convenient when you are out of something like chicken broth! Overall, every pantry needs this chicken bouillon powder. My family loves it and I'm sure yours will too!

I don't like plain white rice so decided to use these to give it some chicken flavor and the rice turned out great. Wasn't overly seasoned. Just a nice subtle chicken taste.

Don't use salt only the bullion! It comes very salty that's the only think I don't el really like about it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this stuff is great for whatever dish you are making! my hubby gets mad because i put this stuff on EVERYTHING. it adds great flavor and just adds an extra umph to your dish! i put it on top of baked chicken and the skin of the chicken is so crunchy and full of flavor. becareful when you add salt cause this already contains salt.
