Maidenform Women's Shapewear Extra Firm Shaping Bodysuit SES108

The bodysuit style is super cute. But the sizing was way too small, even though I used their chart and know the measurements of my body. I could barely get it on. Also, the picture makes the bodysuit look indisputably gray. Read the color description for the suit!! It is a pale peach-like color!! I didn't know what "evening blush" looked like, so I assumed it would look like the photo. It does not! I have no idea why the photo makes the bodysuit look grey. It isn't.

There is a reason every 5 start review comes from Maidenform's website and it's marked that the reviews are part of a promotion. This is probably the most terrible shapewear I've tried..and I've tried a ton of shapewear; everything from high end to cheap Amazon knockoffs. It does not accent my curves at all. I don't need to look "snatched" every day, but I do want to accentuate my natural hourglass shape. This has very little compression at the waist or stomach. The area covering my butt is absolutely terrible. It will not stay in place and I end up with lumps on my butt that are visible even through my jeans- most unsightly. Because I expected a lot from Maidenform, I took off the tags, so it is sitting at the bottom of my closet, where it will stay.

The top came completely off when pulling up, didn’t even have to yank on it for it to fall apart

This bodysuit was surprisingly comfortable and did exactly what I hoped it would in terms of back smoothing for a better look under ribbed tops. I normally despise shapewear and avoid it at all costs, but this was extremly comfortable, the fabric felt cooling, and it was true to size. I am normally between a medium and large in tops (5'5, 150lbs, 34DD), I bought a large and it was perfect. Not too compressive, but just enough smoothing that I got rid of the back rolls and muffin top. I wouldn't recommend wearing this without a bra, as it does smish the boobs down and you lose their shape. With a bra, it looked just fine. Also loved that the straps were adjustable.

Terrible! Ripped when I pulled it up. The top the panels they all ripped to shreds. For this price stick to spanx it’s worth it.

Maidenform makes the best department store shapewear. that being said, I'm so tired of not being able to wear onesies like this. I'm 5'9" with a long torso and the only way I could get this to fit was loosening the straps as far as they could go to turn it into a braless fit. but then the support doesn't lay where it's meant to so it didn't work at all. please, please make tall version. you'd get a lot more business if you did it I'm sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It holds in the tummy very well and fits nice ans snug without being to constricting. I wish it was a smidge more support in the tummy area but its good for what i need and doesnt roll or ride up. Definitely a great product!

Unfortunately, I have some issues around my mid section that I don't like, but when I wear this, it helps. This body shaper doesn't completely rid me of the problem, but it helps and holds me in. I would recommend measuring yourself however, as itmis easy to grt the sizing wrong. The quality is nice, it is strong and holds well with a snap at the bottom for easy removal. Overall, this is a well rounded shaper and it does what it claims.

The bodysuit does not snatch in your waistline but it helps smooth you out to get rid of muffin top when wearing jeans. I would prefer a thong version. Comfortable adjustable straps. My only complaint is that at the chest it scoops too low so if wearing a bra, it doesnt cover the bra and btw I don't have a large chest. So i can't wear this as an undershirt if i want it to show linke a tank top

I love the fact that it has great stretch, while also providing extra firm control. It's very light, lays flat, and doesn't show beneath clothing. It has convertible straps for a perfect fit on top. I like the support on top, that it gives, without smashing the breasts. It has two strips on the back of each thigh, to help keep it from rolling up. The mesh adds extra flexibility, while still providing support in all of the right places. It's surprisingly comfortable to wear, and a good choice for those special outfits to wear with confidence. There are no scratchy edges. It is smooth all the way around, including the hem areas. It doesn't feel sweaty or hot to wear underneath clothing. The tummy and back control is nice and smooth. The privacy area is made with hook and eye closure, which might be easier to open and close with a velcro-type of closure, but it does add extra security, and with a little practice, isn't difficult to use. Overall, for a body foundation to use for special occasions, the Maidenform Sculpts Extra-Firm Bodysuit is a great option!

The bodysuit is really well made and very adjustable and the closures make it very easy to put on and take off. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaper fits well and shapes well (firm/smooth) from the bottom up to the under-bust band. The bralette top of it should be fine for small/slight busts, but I needed to lengthen the straps all the way and wear a regular bra with it (36D or DD usually) there was only enough fabric to cover about half my bust, and created a "mono-boob" shape when I tried it on by itself. It is soft enough when the tension is released from the straps to lie smoothly under clothes along with a bra. (I'd love to see a similar style configured for "wear your own bra" ... I wasn't real confident in the concept of fused edges, but they seem to be stable and tidy so far. The lining of the back is only attached at the seams and is not laminated like the other multiple layers, and I had to be careful to avoid having the lining edges roll a little. The fit of the leg opening is nice; neither too high nor too low, and the 'sticky' stay band kept it from riding up my bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with Maidenform Shape wear. I was going to a wedding and needed some help looking slimmer in some areas. I chose a size 2 xl and I think I could have gone down a size. It was fairly easy to get on. The crotch has tabs that you can undo so you don’t have to remove the whole body suite when you need to use the bathroom. That makes it so convenient! It helped slim my figure the way I wanted. It hid my belly which was the number one concern I have. The seem in the back is a little thick and I wished I couldn’t feel it but unfortunately I could! The straps are just the right thickness and are very comfortable! I would recommend this Maidenform shape wear to anyone looking for a slimmer figure in a dress, it works!
