This was a birthday gift for my husband who had become a veggie gardener in retirement. He freeze dries the fresh produce to make ready-to-eat meals for backpackers and our own family camping trips
Lots of room for delicate veggies and then you can wash them off while you are still outside.

This hod holds a lot. I recently placed in it 12 San Marzano tomatoes and several Jalapeños and topped it off with 4 bell peppers.
