Soft, but I was expecting this product to be sturdier for the amount that I paid for it. My dog hesitates to use it to go on the couch because it is like he is stepping on a pillow that sinks when you apply pressure to it. Please tell me why you charge almost $50.00 for this product? It feels like a stuffed animal.
