My very picky dog, who has rejected other new dog beds in favor of his old smelly one, jumped right on this bed, and has been using it ever since. It is softer than the previous bed, but still enough padding/filling to keep him comfortable. My dog is 120 lb, and he fits this bed with room to spare.
