Keanu Reeves makes his directorial debut, and it has definitely got its own feel. To truly appreciate this movie you need a small affinity for classic martial arts movies. This is a story with a traditional martial arts moral of choosing who you want to be, spirit or power(symbolized by the left hand on top of the right fist). The spiritual nature of the story and Tiger Chen's flawless form gave me goosebumps as he confronts the sinister Donaka Mark(Keanu), wait...Keanu as a bad guy? Yes. With an edge of crazy, brutal and a cocky grin we can see a side of Keanu that he defeated to become the exemplary soul he is today.
