Manscaped Dome Shaver Plus Essentials Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used this shaver and even this early into having this product, I done fell head over heels in love with it. This head shaver has left my head feeling smooth as silk and looking fabulous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This showed me that using something other than outliners is possible. It comes in some nice packaging. After opening, I realized a few things. One, it’s a great travel size. Two, it doesn’t come with a travel case (Booo). Three, the blades are under the silver metal you see (less nicks). After using it, I can say it does a good job. It cuts low but you’ll have to do several passes — especially on the sides with a little pressure. However, cutting the upper neck is a pain. Maybe it’s a skill issue but I can’t get the left and right edges smoothly. Also, those areas get irritated every time trying to do so. Aside from that, no issues at all with cuts/nicks. I LOVE how all the hair is picked up in a catch section you empty out. There’s no mess. And clean up is a breeze. I usually just rinse, brush with a toothbrush and rinse again. Battery life is great too — I get like 9 sessions or so. Ultimately, I’d still use my andis t outliners to do everything — including under beard. However, If I’m going on a week trip and don’t want the cleanup or extra fine touches, this is more than sufficient

After a quick guide on assembly and charge, I quickly used it in anticipation, feeling the difference between the stubble and how a few sheets passes reduced it done to almost nothing. I feared applying pressure would cause micro abrasions and the sequential healing. The unit is light, the handle fits well in my hand and the blade head has great flexibility. According to the guide there is a wet shave method which was a surprising method. I recommend give this unit a try if you decide to start shaving your head on the regular.

I had never used a 4 blade shaver but I was very pleased with the results! I let my hair grow more than I should have as seen in the pictures and it was still doing an effective job. I like the magnetic base for super easy clean outs also. It's lightweight and fits the hand nice. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone! Last thing I forgot to mention, the charger is a USB type c so now you don't have to keep up with as many chargers!

Comes with a cover for the blades and a braided USB to USBC cord so no mess with batteries! Was able to achieve a close shave with this and way quicker than normal clippers! The 4 blade design really helps it adjust to the curvature of the head. This is my go to way to shave my head now!

I have very corse hair and reccomend shaving every 2-3 days. I have this and the skull shaver and I definitely like the feel in the hand and weight of this much better. I love how you can shave on the go with all the hair being trapped inside until you have time to clean it!

He would have blood dripping from all over his head and behind his ears. The Dome Shave Plus is super easy to use, clean and hold. It is also waterproof and rechargeable. You can shave on the couch, at the sink, in the shower, or wherever it is convenient for you. In the brochure, Manscaped recommends using their Power Shave Gel in conjunction with the Dome Shave Plus. Initially, my brother used the Dome Shave Plus without the Power Shave Gel. He said that it provides for a great shave without any cuts, but it didn't cut as close as a razor. I ended up ordering him the Power Shave Gel. He told me that it works! He is getting a shave as close as a razor now. No more cuts and no more blood! He loves it and now uses it everyday!!!

So no razor burn (huge plus) easy to charge (huge plus) and it’s quiet. Gets a nice close shave and it’s waterproof (although I did not in the shower, let’s be clear this is a bathroom appliance). Super easy to clean -magnet is easy to remove and replace. Happy with this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the easiest way to shave your head! For years I've just been using standard clippers with no guard on getting it as short as it could be. I had tried using a razor blade but I'd either miss a few spots or have little cuts from the razor. This is safe, fast, easy, and can also be used wet/dry depending on your preference. It is a very portable device being battery operated. The battery is also really good. I charged it fully upon getting the device. I have used it almost every day for the past 3 weeks and have still not needed to recharge.

Having this head shaver that I can use in the shower makes it so much easier to stay on top of things. It’s important to know that this does not replace a blade that you might use, but it’s very close…closer than I’ve ever been with my peanut shaver. I even started using it on my face and was not disappointed. I do find that I have to go over each spot a few times in order to get complete coverage…likely as expected. However, I could not bring myself to shave it totally bald. With that being said, I gifted this to my brother. He loves it so made a great birthday gift. He says it fits nicely in his hand and is solidly built. It's not heavy by any means, but it definitely is well crafted. He uses it for quick shaves in between razor cuts. He says it gets really close but nothing compares to a regular razor but this razor is super close. I've used Manscaped products regularly so I knew this would be an awesome razor. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time, and is easy to charge with the included USB-C cable. The stainless steel blade guards will last a while and can be used wet or dry. The blade pad is magnetically attached so stays in place nicely. Four rotary blade heads are attached to a flexible neck that allows for adjusting to contours of any head. The Dome Shaver Plus makes shaving a breeze and makes an even better gift. Highly recommend this head shaver from Manscaped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and the Freebird Flex (separately as a gift). I decided to compare to two alternating days and even doing a Two Face style shave. I honestly couldn’t tell a difference in the shave result. Both were good. But the Manscaped Dome Shaver has one discerning factor: cleanup. The hair is caught in a single tray that is magnetic and easily dumped. The Freebird Flex requires each blade be flipped up, scrubbed, and rinsed, and the fifth middle blade (that the Manscaped doesn’t have), has to be turned and lifted. Overall, the Manscaped Dome Shaver doesn’t replace safety razor shaving but is a great maintenance quick and dirty shave. I would recommend it.

After charging up the razor overnight and lathering up my dome, I was ready to go. Really liked how easy the product is to use. Fits nicely into your hand and cleans quickly. Its shape allows it to be used in different angles without having to bend and twist. The only criticism I have, after one use, is that I had to go over spots more often than I anticipated. I had let my hair grown a bit longer then I normally would, so perhaps I share some blame, but I anticipated a tighter shave on a first run through. Still, this is a good product that I see becoming a regular tool in my arsenal.
