I love it. It’s perfect for what I want for the fireplace. It’s very, very cool.

Wish my contractor had said something earlier. Just spoke with him. I wanted it stained an espresso color. He’s having trouble finding one that will work. Actually doesn’t think any stain will turn out one solid color as the matel is made out of 2 different types of wood & is of poor quality. You get what you pay for. The area to be finished also has a lot of glue from your construction process that needs to be sanded off to take stain. We’re just going to paint it black. Should have returned.

Was satisfied with the mantle and looks great hanging. Some reviews mentioned the white was just primer but looks just fine without another coat of paint. For the price, you’d expect a cheap composite (especially these days) so the pine was a nice step up.

There was a large, awkward gap between the mantle and the wall. It rocked and there’s no way I could’ve put anything on top with confidence. The wood piece anchored to the wall was being stressed to bear the weight. Without the mantle sitting flush to the wall, the stress remained on a thinner, arched part of the mounting piece. This issue was partially by design, & partially because the wall was not completely level. Any house is going to have a bit of imperfections once it settles. You’d be hard-pressed to find 72” of completely flat surface on the wall you’d like to mount this. HAD to return. There was no way to make it work.

The mantel exceeded out expectations. People are surprised by the affordable price. The mantel compliments our fireplace makeover with style but being subtle.

Beyond our expectations. Delivery was fast, ahead of schedule. The mantel was well packaged. Installation was easy and when finished it was really solid. I appreciated the advanced notice that maybe the mantel would not be flush against the wall. They then gave the explanation in case of that event and described how to address it. It was the curvature of the wall, not the mantel. Finally, the end product was beautiful and brought rave reviews from members of our family.

The mantel is very nice; unfortunately, I have not found anyone to place it so I'm staring in at at the box.

Mantle came in record time and was exactly as described. Finish was smooth and easy to install. Looks great on the wall and clients are extremely happy with the product as well. I would recommend this company and this product next time you need a mantle or surround!

The mantle came scuffed up right out the box. The paint was worn off in the corners from what seemed like movement in the box during shipping. The wood also had a knot in the surface which had not taken the white paint well, it looked blotchy. We would have returned it but out builder offered to paint it while he was painting the trim in the new room where this mantle was placed. Folks, pay closer attention to the finished product and find a better way to pack it.
