Bad backlight bleeding and viewing angles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bad backlight is bleeding on the bottom and the right side is so white that it makes the panel borderline unusable. if you look at the panel from an angle the image looks purple. Stay away from any HDR content the screen isn't nearly bright or vibrant enough. I think they should take remove iot as a marketing point. I really wanted to love this pannel but I was let down it looks worse than a budget va pannel from 2018. wouldnd recommend. the only reason it's getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because its 32 inches, indeed gsync compatible, refreshes as 165hz and outputs an image.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this monitor. I have 2 of these now. I recently bought the LG 39' Curved 240hz OLED but the curvature was just too much for me. My design work, PDF documents, diagrams, flowcharts, etc just did not look right on the 39'. The solution for me is 2 x 32GP83B-B's! I have these wall mounted, and it's amazing. I swear this model was a sleeper. I also game on these and have zero issues. The monitor button on the bottom of the monitor is better than the newer models IMO. I hope LG isn't skipping on quality with the newer generations; but this is the best version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this monitor for about 8 months, very very simple setup and great quality, use it frequently with my Xbox series x and is entirely compatible, but for some reason it is only letting me run my games at 120 hz and 1080 p but is very reliable if someone can help me with that it would be greatly appreciated, I can technically run it in 4k although it has to be in 60 hz, but the graphic difference is barely noticeable. HDR on the monitor when pairing it with just my console does not always work properly, but it works perfectly with my pc. I love this monitor and I think it was worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when it went on sale to replace a old 60hz monitor I've been using for some time and let me tell you for the price and for what you get it's amazing. It did require some tweaking and setting changes but after that it's a great monitor for the price. Games are fluid with the Freesync and I couldnt have asked for more. LG products always keep impressing me. Very little IPS bleed from the backlight in low light settings. I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor ha s beautiful 2k display accompanied by hdr and g-sync compatibility. The reason I went for this monitor was because I had notice my last monitor had a little bit of screen tearing so I decided it was finally time to upgrade. Took me a little bit of time to get used the the higher resolution, newer features, larger monitor size, and smaller taskbar and more condensed home screen that comes with the larger pixel count. Despite me not noticing the the slight difference in image quality between a 2k and a 1080p monitor at first, I quickly grew to love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About a month ago I purchased a 32 inch gaming monitor. Not only does it look fantastic but it was easy to assemble easy to use and the quality is incredible. Lastly, it wasn’t that expensive so if you’re looking for a great monitor, whether it’s for gaming working from home or just every day computing, this is the best monitor for you.

Horrible darks and worse HDR

The HDR is not good. The darks are not good. Paid full retail after enjoying 1080 variant. There are less expensive options with better 2k quality and the contemporary LG monitors offer the customer a premium price point for a sub par product. I spent hours trying to calibrate and "fix" the HDR {which when enabled destroys the hdr and does not let you adjust anything. I feel like I paid a premium price for a rip off HDR that is worthless, and a hardware system that fails at all picture quality levels. The new products are at the $1000 plus range and offer far less then other brands at a lower price point. the GP83b would have been perfect without the HDR that literally kills the image quality while at the same time locks out all of the adjustments that could possibly fix the problem or mask the poor quality of this device. I am very dissapointed that i paid premium prices for a low tier screen. I would just spend a few hundred dollars more and get a fair bang for your buck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor to replace an older 27" Asus. Wish I would have made the move much sooner. The Asus monitor had terrible light bleed around the edges, this does not. The picture quality is amazing for such a reasonable price. This display has exceeded my expectations in every way.
