Marble Door Stop - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

I was highly disappointed with this door stop. It weighs about 10 pounds, but I live in a loft that has a heavy-duty front door and smooth concrete floors. The best way to describe my front door is that it's smilar to the door of a luxury hotel room. I opened my door and placed this door stop in front of it, but my door slid shut anyway. I then opened the door again and placed the door stop closer to the door's pivot point, but the door still slid shut. I returned this back to target the next day. I'm going to buy an old-school wedge-shaped door stop instead. At least I know they work.

Functional and aesthetically pleasing. I bought one and loved it so much I had to get another.

It's not the typical shade of bread that you would expect from the pictures but it's still very cute and functional.

Cute and does the job

I live in a very old house that still has many of its original finishes. The doors don’t engage and stay closed. I also have 3 very nosey cats who I want to keep out of the basement and attic. These have some weight to them and work perfectly.

Dang this thing is solid! Our cats like to play with each other behind the doors, but I don’t prefer them to do that since they can hurt themselves. Purchased this to prop the door open and wow, it’s a real solid 10lbs. Most other cheaper door stops are 4-5lbs and that’s something they can easily scoot aside. I’ve seen what they did to their automatic feeder lol.

So, I purchased this door stop to hold open the heavy garage to house door. It's a solid 10 lbs and big enough that you don't accidentally bump it. The marble is nice, not super shiny but not cheap looking (35 is not cheap lol) but I'm happy with this. Good design.

The quality of this doorstop really exceeded my expectations! It’s really heavy, and looks very chic - like it cost more than it actually did. It’s taken a bit of a beating from my door and still looks new 8 months later.

had a plain rubber wedge and my pup kept taking it out and playing with it. since my bedroom door isn't even it would close which I didn't like. bought this marble stop and he hasn't messed with it once! it's awesome! door stays open when I want it to and it's a beautiful decor piece too!

EXACTLY what I was looking for!

Great quality, functional, and a great piece of decor! Our dog pushes the door open when coming in from outside- sometimes with a little too much enthusiasm. We had wall damage from the woven shades on the door swinging and hitting the wall, and this now solves that issue. We place it in a spot where it can slow the door when swinging too fast, and saves the wall from being damaged! Whew! Bonus points that it is an attractive piece of decor also.
