Summary of reviews
The reviews indicate a significant decline in the quality of the beef pot pie, with many guests expressing disappointment over the texture and taste of the meat, which is often described as rubbery or resembling processed cubes. The lack of vegetables and the overwhelming crust have also been common complaints. While some guests still appreciate the gravy and crust, the overall sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction, making it a less appealing option for quick meals.

You have such a great opportunity to offer a wonderful product backed by a famous name, why would you put meat barely fit for dog food in your beef pot pie? Do the right thing. Until you re commit to quality I will not buy the beef pot pie again. Use chunks of real whole roast beef.

I bought a beef pot pie for the second time. There's no vegetables only two pieces of half carrots no potatoes nothing There's beef but it taste like dog food. You can't call this a pot pie with no vegetables. I'll go back to banquet.

I recently bought and cooked your beef pot pie. The picture on the box showed carrots, potatoes, celery and beef.. These items were also listed on ingredients. My pie had several pieces of beef, 2 little slices of carots no poatoes or celery. I was mostly just gravy. Very disappointing. and won't be purchasing again. numbers on the box are 5006 5014 20 P1 09;26 EST233

Unbelievabley sad. This product used to be excellent and authentic, now it is nothing short of a false presentation of what it used to be. It lacked any substantial vegetables, and don't get me started on the "beef". Dice size cubes of something that isn't beef at all. Clearly a formed rubbery substance that no one could mistake as beef. I could not be more disappointed and honestly, the picture on the box looks nothing like what is inside. I don't suspect you'll do anything about it. Shame on you Conagra for compromising a once perfect product!

I bought the Beef Pot Pies for the family. It literally said on the box, "PREMIUM seasoned beef." This was honestly a complete fabrication. The "beef" in this pot pie was pressed cubes of processed something-or-other, not real beef---and certainly not something that even vaguely resembled the picture on the carton. I'm so sorry that I wasted money on these things. This is nothing that I will ever feed my family again. I spent more than 23 years in prison, and they never fed us anything this bad.

Had one today! I am seriously disappointed! They used to be good, but now they are not worth buying! Pastry tastes like cardboard and you have changed to fake reconstituted beef chunks instead of real meat! Honestly, I will never buy one of these again! If this is how your brand is doing things now I will likely not buy any of your other products either! Sad you used to be a much better option than the other meals on the market now you are just as bad!

Let’s examine the inside of Marie Callender‘s beef Pop pie what a joke nine pieces of beef three pieces of potato, one carrot and extra on the crust are you kidding me? You should be ashamed of yourself selling the product like this for so much money but nothing in it. PS you also need to change the picture on your carton because it does not look like nothing like that when you open them up

Your beef pot pies used to have REAL BEEF instead of a pre-formed spongy cube that is brown in color & lacking FLAVOR. When you used REAL BEEF, the pot pie was wonderful with more than a tablespoon of veggies. You should consider bringing back real beef & adding more veggies, or DISCONTINUING THE BEEF POT PIE! NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

I should have read the other reviews before purchasing. Everything that I have read in the reviews is spot on. The beef(?) tasted terrible. I only ate 1 bite and then I threw the whole thing out. I expected better from Marie Callendars.

We bought 4 of them had to cook them for 90 minutes to get the crust to brown. Then there was only meat and gravy and no vegetables. The meat inedible. It was rubbery. The gravy was ok. The crust tasted nasty. I buy the chicken and turkey snd have no problem with the potpies. The beef is inedible and a waste of good money. Will not buy again.

Totally disappointed in beef pot pie. Almost entire thing was flavorless beef cubes that didn't even has a beef texture. Found two potato pieces and that was it. I did have the creamy parm chicken and that was very good. Unfortunately it was a waste of money on the beef pot pie, but my dog enjoyed it.

The beef in their pot pies is Waaay below Marie's standards. If she were to taste it, she'd be mad, no doubt. The beef in your stew and others is fine. I've tried several beef pot pies thinking i just got a bad one. Nope they all were bad.

The “beef” was some kind of mystery meat cube that tastes horrible and neither me nor my husband could eat it! ! What the heck!! I love pot pies but I give these a big fat zero! You need to do better Marie Callender!! Don’t buy them people!

Terrible! I ate one piece of the rubbery stuff you call beef and almost choked on it. So I put all of the “beef” aside. All that was left was tons of crust and a little bit of gravy. It was so dry. I saw no celery, 2 slices of carrot and a few tiny pieces of potato. Worst pot pie I’ve ever had..
