Q: What does it taste like? Sweet? Regular white bread?

A: Typically 100% Whole Wheat Bread can be a little bitter and 20 years ago Mr. Martin wanted to create a Whole Wheat product that his grandchildren and other children would eat so he revised the potato bread mix by replacing the flour from enriched wheat flour, to 100% stoneground whole wheat flour. This changed incorporated the value of the Whole Wheat flour and the potato mix provided a little sweetness to offset the bitterness of whole wheat to be more appealing not only to children but adults as well. So yes it is a little sweet, and no it is not a regular white bread as we use 100% stoneground whole wheat flour. I trust this is helpful and I appreciate your question.
