All the positive traits of the Classic crackers, with a tiny bit of bite added by the pepper. The pepper is just the right amount--not overdone at all.

I love Mary's crackers and was excited to get them with a hit of jalapeno but they are just the same as a regular cracker but hot, no jalapeno flavour came through at all. They do have a bit of a kick so if all you want is heat you will love them.
Mary's Gone black pepper cracker don't quite make the mark.

I prefer Back to Nature Mutigrain Flax Flatbread cracker. These Mary's Gone Crackers don't have as good a taste. Your crackers have a mild earthy taste with chunks of black pepper. These Back to Nature Crackers are thinner, crunching and slightly sweet. Excellent with Sargentos Pepper Jack Crackers. In fact are quite addictive. I buy 10 boxes at a time.

My husband and I have been eating Mary's Gone Crackers for many years, and I think these are our favorites (though we normally buy the original and, once in a while, the black sesame and seaweed which are delightful too!). We eat homemade hummus every day for lunch, and the originals are our go-to cracker but I decided to put my review here because the black pepper are the perfect for Friday or Saturday night snacks. We are health-conscious and vegan, and I feel these crackers actually add to your health as opposed to other brands.

The Black Pepper Crackers are my favorite of all the flavors. Unfortunately they have discontinued that flavor in all the stores in my area. (west TN)I have to order online or have my sister bring some when she visits from Montana or ships them to me which ends up breaking a lot of them in the box. I love her for that.
