[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is a blast with the family and provides a safe and fun way to rock 'em and sock 'em! The game is easy to learn for most age groups. The cards and gloves are high quality, so there is no worry of ruining the game pieces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a retro game which is brought back to life in a game of speed. The gloves are comfortable for kids to wear. My kids absolutely love them and wear them without even playing the game. The instructions are a little confusing because it incorporates registering bolts at the top of the card to lose points. A little complicated for a quick game. It is easy to pack away, the cards are the size of a standard deck of cards. It is a very visually stimulating game and the colors of the cards correspond with the number of bolts. It is challenging to follow the rules because they are not straight forward. Overall fun looking game but a tad confusing to play until you get into a rhythm of play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a classic game [Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots] revived for the new generation. The kids liked it. If you or your kiddos enjoy Skip It or Uno you/they will probably enjoy this card game. It's already been requested on game night again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rock em, sock em, smack em? I was worried at first that anything involving snacks would soon lead to sibling fights in my household, but instead it brought endless laughter and fun! A fun card game with even more fun rules. Would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this game! It’s almost like they are playing the original game. It was a little slow going for them but once they got it they loved it. They ask to play everyday after school. We had so many laughs while playing this game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a such a fun card game with a twist! Although it took some time for the kids to get the rules and how it works, they are loving it and beg to play this on game night. Also like that it is a team played card game. Fun for kids and adults!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my 9 year old's set this game up and they had a hard time understanding how to play and lost interest quickly. The gloves make it more exciting but all my kids' wanted to do was box with the gloves and not play the game. If you are going to play make sure you play on a softer surface smacking down hard could hurt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old daughter and I played the Rockem Sockem Fight Cards game. At first, I found the instructions to be a bit confusing and I had to reread them several times. I found myself referring back to the instructions many times while playing. Once we played for awhile, we did find that it got easier and had a lot more fun. It is definitely a competitive game as the goal is to be the first to hit the cards in the middle to end up the the most cards. The idea of the game and theming is great. I can’t wait to play it with a larger group of people, rather than just two as I think it would be much more entertaining. Overall, this game is super fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a fun card game! My kids love putting the gloves on and get immediate joy from just pulling the gloves out. The card game is fast moving and action packed. It gets the whole family involved when we watch. Everyone wants a chance to wear the gloves and be the first to smack the pile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Fight cards make for a great family night game. My kids loved the robot gloves the most out this game. The gloves are soft and have padding on the top. They resemble a mini boxing glove so no kids got hurt while slamming for the card deck. The direction card was colorful and explained the rules well for the adults. It my kids took a few times around to understand the rules. The cards are like regular playing cards in texture. I just wish they were a little firmer so when the game gets very exciting the cards won't have a chance to bend when being slammed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my kids new favorite game. Adds a fun twist with the padded gloves. Instead of a reverse card they have a glove swap card for multi player, they can't wait till they get the glove. There are lots of interesting add ons to the game but we've set our own house rules to make it easier for younger kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun card game with an extra exciting twist a a good dose of nostalgia. Growing up we had the original Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. Once you understand the rules of the card game it moves pretty quickly and the the boxing gloves actually do a great job of buffering some of the intensity when the game gets heated. Has to be played with an equal number of players, either 2 individuals or 2 teams. My almost 10 year old had a great time whomping dad.
Easy to learn and fun game, with some nitpicks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is pretty fun. The rules are simple and easy to learn. If you have played other "slap the deck" card games you will find this similar and easier to pick up. The main difference here are the boxing mitts. They actually half-mitts. The top of the mitt looks like a traditional fist/glove, but the bottom of the mitt is flat and smooth. They seem to fit everyone from our 3 year to 43 in our household. We've run into two nit picks with this game. The first is probably the most predictable - most kids don't want to just slap the pile, they want to hit each other. This can make playing the actual game difficult in addition to the whole "we don't hit people" parenting required. The second is an issue with how kids tend to play the game. Because the goal is to slap the pile when conditions are met, they often try to "slow turn" the card so they can place and slap very rapidly. It's nothing that doesn't happen in other games of this nature, its just that this iteration doesn't attempt to address that at all either.
Smackdown fun for all ages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun game for a variety of ages! You just have to understand what the different cards mean, and be ready to react quickly to smackdown! If you win a smackdown, you get all the cards in the pile, and the person, or team that has the most cards at the end wins! My boys are 6-12 years of age, and this is a game they can all play and enjoy! Teams need to be even numbers, but playing one-on-one has also proved to be fun and entertaining!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game takes a little getting used to but after a few rounds and some of our own editing (paring down rules, etc), we all got the hang of it, including my 7 year old. With 112 cards though, it takes awhile for someone to win. My kids still had fun trying to beat the adults to the punch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is so entertaining. While maybe a little complicated for kids under 8, some might be able to pickup on it to some extent and still have fun with the rest of the family too. The gloves are padded just right to keep from and sting to the hand slap pile-up and the cards are sturdy for long lasting and potentially aggressive play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun game! The gloves are a cool feature of the game. The directions are clear and concise. We had fun making "house rules" to change up the game. It is fun not only as 2 player but more too. The cards are easy to read and printed as a good quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family really enjoyed this game and it will become a staple during our family game night . The instructions were easy to figure out and the game can be played with as little as two players or the whole family. The kids loved the addition of the boxing gloves that they had to use to slap the cards. It was fun having to switch them with the other player on your team if they drew a particular card . The gloves are super soft so there is nothing to worry about if anyone gets too excited while playing the game . It kept my family’s interest from the youngest to the oldest!
