Maui Jim Big Wave Wrap Sunglasses

very nice glasses. Lightweight and large lens's to filter the sun. My only issue with quality and value is they are made from a plastic type material. I feel like I should be getting a sturdier or more durable material for what I am paying.

This pair replaces my 8 year old pair I wore out from constant wear. Sorry Mauijim , I “ll be back in 8-9 years.!!!

Maui Jim sunglasses have been the only sunglasses I or my wife have ever bought and wear since I was stationed on Oahu in 1980. We’ve occasionally but rarely had to rely upon Maui Jim warranty services and have always been completely satisfied with their personalized services and customer care.

Good sunglasses for the bigger guy. Lenses are great with good clarity. This is the only pair that I felt like fit my face!!

Have had a pair of these for a few years. They have not held up like others. The lenses wear out in the saltwater in my boat and I am constantly replacing parts

Lenses and coating do not stand up to wear. Previous iterations of maui jim lenses were much better. These were so scratched and scuffed within 6 months as to be almost unusable. 2 starts for great for and comfort for wide heads.

So I've had these now about 3 or 4 years. I am kind of disappointed as I bought them for fishing when out on my boat. Specifically the rubber nose pads continue to wear out and I have to replace them and the wire that the nose pads mount to bend and get out of adjustment fairly easily. I think an integrated nose bridge would have been a better design. They also don't do well to prevent air swirling in when I am driving at speed on the lake. They also allow light in from the top rim unless I am wearing a hat. I do like the style and light weight.

Excellent Wrap-Around Sunglasses. I read reviews saying that they felt they were cheap, but I am finding them to be superb quality with a lot of smart engineering to make them so lightweight. I customized to have the Hawaii Blue Lenses on the Tortoiseshell frame. Note that the frame is darker than the picture and doesn't have as many light highlights as the picture does. You have to look closely at it to tell it is tortoiseshell but they still look great. Lenses are stellar as always and for those that like how things look through the Maui Green lenses, the blue lenses are the same base color lens when looking through them. Weight is surprisingly very light which will allow me to wear them for hours without discomfort. I also appreciate the adjustable nose pads to have the glasses sit well on my face without them moving at all. Finally, the case works, but it is not the best fit. You have to make sure that the lenses face the interior then push down on the arms to completely close the case. Wish that they still included the hard cases especially at these price points, but companies are always trying to find ways to cut costs these days. I've ordered a generic hard case to protect them better. I'd rank these a 5 if the tortoiseshell arrived as pictured and if they supplied a better case.

I've owned this pair of sunglasses for at least 10 years now. I've had various parts replaced over time due to wear and tear. I have to have very dark sunglasses because of my Irlen's Syndrome. I suffer from migraines without them. Back when I was shopping for dark sunglasses I reviewed numerous sunglasses, including those from other big-name brands, but I kept going back to the Maui Jims because they make the darkest lenses on the market.

My big concern here is the Maui Jim plastic lenses. Good optics, but very poor durability; they felt cheap since I got them. These lenses tends to detiriorate very quick. Stay with sunglasses with the glass lenses. DO NOT BUT MAUI PLASTIC LENSES.

I’ve had a pair Maui Jim sunglasses for years. I love them. But this one is such a cheap and flimsy plastic I have to return them.

Best ever! Handles the direct afternoon sunlight while driving. Fits my big head (7-7/8 hat size) with comfort.

These are the best glasses ever! This is my second pair because they fit my face well. I have them in two colors and might just get the third so I have them all. If you have trouble finding glasses that fit your face, these are the last pair you will ever need!

perfect for me, I went blind for a couple of weeks in the Marine Corps and sensitive to lights at times and these MJ's helped alleviate that.

I have a large head and it’s next to impossible to find a pair of sunglasses that fit. The Big Waves fit perfectly.

Had them for a week and as a person with the big coconut they fit well and the wrap is great to prevent the sun from sneaking in. I have also been on the water with my son fishing and this is where the truly shine.

Best sunglasses I ever had for driving with Blue Hawaii lens. I got a big head so those BigWave are perfect. The colors are beautiful.

These sunglasses are fantastic! The lens quality is great and what I expected and the frames are light and stylish- can't go wrong!

I own two pairs of these and mostly use them for backpacking. They fit my large face perfectly, provide outstanding clarity, hold in place superbly, have survived multiple days in harsh conditions without a blemish, and are so light that I forget I'm wearing them. Best sunglasses I've ever owned, hands down.

These fit my big face perfect. I love these but they do feel flimsy compared to my Wassups.
