Maui Jim Kaiwi Channel Wrap Sunglasses

Quality of lenses, frame hinges and overall stability of Maui Jim glasses has gone down drastically in the last few years. I was a Maui Jim devotee for 20 years and dozens of sunglasses purchased from them. Unfortunately, considering the overall standard at Maui Jim. Sadly, this will be my last pair purchased from them.

I purchased a pair and have never even thought of purchasing a different name brand of shades. These are high quality frames with great lenses. I wear mine everywhere and appreciate that my eyes are protected from the sun Great job Maui Jim

I love these glasses! The ones I just bought are actually my second pair of the Kaiwi Channel. I sadly lost my first pair. I own many pairs of Maui Jim’s, but the Kaiwi Channel are by far my favorites!

Absolutely love these! The fit is snug enough that they stay put when you’re active, but not too tight. I specifically wanted these for shelling. Other sunglasses I’ve had distorted the colors - these do not! Also love that they are wide/tall enough to not let sun in the top but their size allows me to wear with a visor. Have looked at this brand for awhile, but wasn’t ready to commit to the price. Now I wish I had bought them sooner!! Would absolutely buy again.

It’s a nice sunglasses but I don’t have a big bridge so it rests on my cheek wish it could be adjusted like my other pairs of MJ glasses

I really like the fit and the optics of the glasses. It took a few times of me wearing the glasses to get used to the nosepiece. The nosepiece is not as comfortable as some glasses I’ve worn, but I feel it is designed to keep them from slipping on your face. The glasses are very comfortable to wear and provide a clear view in a variety of lighting.

Love these wrap around. I have the peahi and southern cross and these are a bit smaller on my face which is good. I am a woman and prefer the men's styles for work. These hold steady on my nose and are ultra light. They were on a 30% off sale so wasn't sure what to expect but I really love them.

Beautiful and I am very happy, this is my third pair of sunglasses over 25 years. My favorite brand!

I love these new glasses. I have been wearing Voyagers for 20 years until the lenses got shattered and Maui Jim's doesn't offer replacement lenses. These are very similar in size and style to Voyagers if anyone is looking to replace their Voyagers.

I have lived in Florida basically my entire life. I have always worn better quality sunglasses for the clarity and sun protection. Maui Jim’s glass lens are the best for those two attributes plus the comfort of the fit and finish of the frames. I bought a pair of Alenuihahas with the Lava lens about 8 months ago and the color is great for almost any outdoor activity I am involved in. When I saw that the Kaiwi Channel Lava was on sale for 25% off I immediately ordered a pair. I have had them for a little over a week and I have worn them every day! That includes two weekend driving trips and every day during the week. I have only one concern, the left nose pad seems to pinch my nose and leave a mark. I have a very narrow nose and have never had this issue. But this minor issue does not change my opinion of Maui Jim products, I love them and will continue to make them my go to for great vision, for sun protection and comfort.

The red frame reflects into the bottom of the lens. It’s like shining a powerful light through a piece of plastic. That same effect is all along the bottom of the frame.

Great fitting - COMFORTABLE - and easy on the eyes....
