I bought this stroller about a month ago. My baby is 4 months old, I did a lot of research on strollers that could turn into bassinets without needing an attachment. Overall I call it my Mercedes of how luxurious it is! The color doesn’t stain at all, and it’s still clean even thought we’ve been through dirt roads. I love how I can turn it into a bassinet when my baby falls asleep at Disneyland and how easy it is to fold and unfold. I would say it is very heavy for me but I can still put it in and out of my suv.

Bought this as we’re expecting baby #4 in less than 10 weeks!! The assembly process was perfect very easy little instructions were needed. Full review available on my socials. It’s a modern design, nice size caddy for storage, lightweight, and easily collapse for trunk storage and set a perfect price mark . Great for budgeting parents. Definitely recommended

Good stroller that is adaptable for babies to toddlers

The Maxi-Cosi Tayla™ Max Modular Stroller is an easy to assemble stroller. While we were out for walks with our son, it was very easy to recline him into the different modes of seating. While we did not utilize the carriage option for our 1.5 year old, I think that this option will be a GAME changer when it comes to having my second child soon. I think that it will make for a very easy transition for stroller naps when they do inevitably end up needing a nap on our various outings. We loved the rain guard that came with the stroller to help keep the rain off our toddler. It was one of the best things, especially living in the PNW. We also really enjoyed having the reversible seat cushion option because my son makes a huge mess from all his snacks and so having the option to go from a lighter color cushion to a darker was huge. We did have some reservations about the stroller after several uses. One specifically is that my husband and I both had a hard time figuring out how to open up the stroller after it was collapsed. While we love the ease of it collapsing with one hand, we wish that opening up was just as easy. Our other reservation was that it took up so much room in our trunk space. It is definitely a bulkier stroller and so if you have a smaller car, it might be difficult to fit inside. Overall though, this is a comfortable, easy stroller that will work with both my newborn and toddler. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.

Very versatile stroller!

This stroller is so versatile in all its abilities and has a lot of great features I didn't know I was missing. My baby isn't quite sitting up all on his own, so the bassinet function is perfect for the time being (most often). He is getting stronger though, so we have tested it on the middle setting, so hes a bit more upright but not fully in an upright seated position. He is very comfortable in either position! If he happens to fall asleep, the seat can easily & quickly (+ quietly) be lowered so he can fully lay down. I also love that when he is bigger, the seat can face in or out. The seat is also nice and cushioned, as well as reversible. I like being able to have a bit of flair instead of an all black stroller. The hidden extendable canopy is one of my favorite features. It keeps some of the wind at bay, as well as the sun or bugs, but I can check in to see that he is okay without a hassle. I also like that the length of the shoulder straps is easily tightened or loosened, although the buckle is a little tricky at times. Another great thing is the adjustable handle. I'm 5'2, so the lowest setting is perfect. My husband is 6' tall, so having it fully extended is great for him. Finally, the breaking system is so user friendly. There are little brake pedals by each rear wheel, one with a red circle & the other with a green circle. Simply press down the red one to lock, then press the green one to release and go. So easy! Overall, it is so great to have just one stroller to use now in the early baby days, that will grow with us into toddlerhood. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller!

The GOAT!!

This Maxi-Cosi Tayla™ Max Modular Stroller is seriously the greatest of all time. We have used at least 5 different strollers with our 3 children and this one is by far my favorite. We wish we would have had it from the newborn stage on up! The quality is amazing and it looks so high end! Our favorite feature is the instant carriage option! When our son falls asleep while seated in the stroller, it is a quick and seamless transition from an upright position to laying flat in instant carriage mode! Best part? He stays asleep!! AND it can be done with one hand! Another great feature is the 360° canopy that provides your little one with UPF 50 protection and unzips to extend the mesh privacy panel! No need to keep track of a separate canopy accessory with this stroller! The seat cushion on the Tayla™ Max is unique - it is reversible between a breathable mesh fabric for use with warm weather and a knit fabric for when it is cooler. While we have only been able to use this in the cool fall Wisconsin weather, we will appreciate the breathable mesh helping to keep our little one cooler in his stroller seat this summer! While this stroller was tricky to get used to collapsing and setting up at first, we now have no problem and can do it with ease. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this stroller! We LOVE it! 10/10!

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I absolutely love it! It's very light weight and easy to get in and out of my car and set up and collapse. Having the option to have my baby facing me or facing out is essential. My daughter loves the upright position when she's wide awake. It seems to make her feel more like she's a part of all the action. She slept so well with the seat reclined with the warmer cushioning. I like the idea of having two fabrics to use based on the weather. Since it's been cold, I only used the warmer fabric, which I felt kept my baby warmer. The canopy does a great job protecting my baby from the sun and rain. It's very easy to use, but I wish I could see her better in the upright position. The hand rail is very comfortable. I don't love the cup holder. I'd like it better if it were inside the hand rail. The cup holder hit several doorways and whatnot being on the outside. The storage is great. I like that it has a flat surface on the bottom. It made it easy to get my diaper bag in and out of and was very accessible. My favorite part of the stroller is how easy it is to open it. Only needing one hand and a foot is so nice when carrying tons of things and keeping track of several kids.

MVP of storage and functionality

I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest opinion. This stroller has exceeded my expectations. My daughter enjoys facing out and being able to take in the scenery on our walks but sometimes she needs to feel close to me, so the fact that I am able to easily switch the orientation of the seat is an invaluable feature. The seat is comfortable and roomy. The bottom of the seat is shaped perfectly for comfortably resting feet. The extended sunshade is very important for us because my kids have fair skin and we try to limit sun exposure whenever possible while still being able to enjoy the outdoors. The real MVP of this stroller goes to the shape and opening of the storage basket. I have never owned or seen another stroller that allows me to put my massive diaper bag in it. With all the other strollers, I couldn't even shove it in the basket if I tried. I've always had to hang it from the handle bar, which is a huge tipping hazard. It isn't very deep but as long as all of my belongings are in bags I have no worries of anything falling out. The only gripe I have is I noticed a large scratch on the frame after our first walk. It could have arrived that way and I didn't notice. But I don't purchase strollers for aesthetics, I'm more about comfort and functionality, so it personally doesn't bother me. I had planned on taking a compact travel stroller on our cruise/two days at Disney next summer, but after using this stroller for a few weeks I think I've changed my mind. The functionality of this stroller can't be competed with. It will be perfect for on-the-go naps, lugging around everything we need, sun protection, and it isn't super bulky which was my number one worry about bringing a full size stroller on a cruise ship. I highly recommend this Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max stroller not only as an everyday stroller, but also as the perfect travel stroller.

So Sleek So Sophisticated

I was so excited about this stroller the moment I opened it. The black fabric is absolutely beautiful and feels very sophisticated. The tan leather accents on the handle and belly bar are lovely. I was able to put it together by myself in under five minutes and was out the door with it in under ten. The plush pad is foamy and very comfortable and the stay-put five point harness was an absolute breeze to adjust to fit my daughter and also meant I didn't have to be digging under her butt trying to find the lower clip. It hasn't been very warm where I live so I have yet to use the breathable side of the cushion, but definitely will in the summer months. The huge canopy is amazing and I love the way the bug net stays on board at all times and is silent to pull down and up when I want to check on her. My daughter had so much head room that she will be able to use this stroller for a long time. I love the four modes for this stroller. On quick trips to boring places (the store) I like to keep her facing me (it also helps keeps germs away) but for longer walks outside I love that I can turn her outward to explore the world. The lie flat bassinet is amazing and only requires one hand to silently recline for when she falls asleep on an outing. I can flip between the four settings (bassinet rear and forward-facing and upright seat rear and forward-facing) effortlessly. The folding and unfolding is single-handed with a quick kick of the frame, so I could hold my daughter on my hip and still get the stroller in and out of the trunk. The basket is a good size and very accessible. The foot break is super easy and never gets stuck. It also feels really secure. Lastly, I love having a belly bar to hand toys on and for extra protection for my daughter's safety. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.

Innovative and gorgeous

As a mom of 5, soon to be 6, kiddos I have been through my fair share of strollers. This one really impresses me as it has some classic "must-have" features, but also some innovative game-changing features. It is very versatile and can be in multiple different modes, front facing or parent facing (classics), but also can lay completely flat and turn into a pram/bassinet. I absolutely love how seamlessly you can switch, it takes virtually no effort and is useful for an infant (more comfortable in the pram mode) but also older kiddos (like my 1 year old) who need impromptu diaper changes or outfit changes without using a gross diaper changing station. My absolute favorite feature, however, is the extendable canopy. This is an innovation I had never considered but now can never turn back from. The way the canopy covers the entire seat is incredible and it fits on so easily, a bit like a shower cap. This is going to be perfect for the summer when I need to take my baby out for strollers, or to our local amusement park/water park/pool, and need to keep the bugs away from baby. It will also allow me to properly shade them. The extendable canopy is easy to zip away into the main canopy when it's not in use as well. The only downside is that it can only be used in the pram mode, which makes sense as an older kiddo could kick if off pretty easily. The cushioning seems very comfortable for my kiddo- my 1 year old is constantly trying to climb in the seat even when it's folded up, ha! The folding mechanism is unique, you have to push the storage basket down with your foot while sliding and pushing a button on the handle. It's a bit awkward, especially to get my foot that high while pregnant, but I've gotten used to it the more I have used it. The handling is great, although this is definitely not all-terrain and bumps will stop you- even a large crack in the sidewalk. This stroller is perfect for flat surfaces though! Thanks Stellar Panel for sending me this stroller to try!

Wow, I really love this stroller!! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. We own two other brand strollers and this is easily my new favorite. It is so light and easy to maneuver. I absolutely love that the seat provides four modes including the infant bassinet option. Although our baby prefers sitting up in the seat we have been able to use the carriage for naps and she is cozy as can be. Transitioning from position to position is seamless. Not to mention how nice it will be not have to store a bassinet attachment. The canopy is great for sun and I also foresee it helping with bugs in the summer. I love how it extends the entire way down. The seat cushions are very comfortable and such a nice touch to offer two fabrics based on the weather. The color palette was very neutral but chic at the same time. We have the desert wonder color. Overall, I would recommend this stroller to anyone looking for advice on which stroller to choose for their registry. One con we had, was opening the stroller seemed difficult. Don't give up though, once you know how it's easy!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. I was able to use this for both my 2 year old and my newborn using the carriage mode. It worked well for my toddler but I think he would have liked to sit up more straight. It is easy to transition to different modes and put it in carriage mode, which worked great and was very comfortable for my newborn for walks around the neighborhood. I love that I will be able to use it as he grows. You can reverse the seat cushion for different weather, which is an awesome feature. The 360 canopy is easy to use and keeps the sun out of their eyes. I also appreciate that the seat can be forward or rear facing. The stroller is incredibly easy to steer and comfortable to hold with the cushioned handle bar. It feels so lightweight while strolling. It took a few tries to get used to folding it and taking it back out, but overall is easy to do. One minor complaint is that the paint had a small chip after 2 uses. I would definitely recommend this stroller.

looking for new gear that can make my day easier, and more effective. As a participant of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I had the pleasure of trying out my "now" new favorite stroller. Switching between the reclining and upright mode was super simple and handy. As a family that has both a toddler and newborn, having the option to switch modes on the fly is quite convenient. Our toddler loves to change her mind between walking and riding. Having the option to lay the stroller back in "the carriage position" for the newborn, and then upright for the toddler while we're out on a walk is a fantastic addition. One great feature I liked about the stroller was the 360° expandable canopy. Having the ability to pull the canopy all the way down over the feet helped with the bright afternoon sun here in Montana. It was easy to deploy and stretch over the stroller. The only downside of the canopy was the way it stores. There is not a lot of room in the zipper pocket to stowaway the canopy when not in use making it hard to do while out on a walk. We needed to wait until I got home, so we could use both hands while zipping up the storage pocket and not catching the fabric in the zipper. Live in Montana, our weather conditions can change pretty drastically in the course of the week. having the option to flip the cushion over during the cooler times of day is a bonus. This stroller offers several features that were missing in many others we've tested, owned, or tried over the last two years. My favorite would probably be the restraint system. This stroller has a more intuitive buckle and latch than I have seen on other strollers, but the best feature is the pull to tighten straps. Only more traditional stroller. You have to adjust the tightness by feeding and pulling on the buckles usually located unders shoulder pads or in the back of stroller. Other noticeable features that I will miss on other strollers is the rear wheel locking mechanism. On this stroller, you have on

A good option, but lacking in a few areas

After testing the Tayla™ Max Modular Stroller, courtesy of Stellar Product Testing Panel, I found it to be a mixed bag of impressive features and areas needing improvement. As a 6 ft tall individual, its larger size is a significant plus, preventing the common issue of kicking the wheels while walking. Pros: Height-Friendly Design: Ideal for taller parents. Premium Materials: Offers a high-end feel. Swivel and Lockable Wheels: Enhance maneuverability. Cup Holder: A convenient, though small, accessory. Full Canopy: Exceptionally useful for sun protection. (this was my favorite feature) Cons: Mechanical Components: Some parts feel less durable, like the hinge to move the seat position. Storage Basket: Smaller than expected, not fitting standard diaper bags. Reversible Fabric Seat: While a nice feature, it didn't seem necessary. Seat Comfort: My child appeared awkward in the seating position, and the lack of leg position adjustment was a downside. In summary, while the stroller scores high on certain aspects like the canopy and material quality, it falls short in storage capacity and some mechanical features. It's a decent option but may not completely justify its high price tag, needing a few enhancements to truly stand out.

Beautiful stroller with so much versatility!

What a fantastic stroller! This stroller meets our needs and more. It controls smoothly and maneuvering it is a breeze! It is lightweight, has a good amount of storage underneath and is quite versatile. Putting it together right out of the box was easy and it looks fantastic! I really love the ability to adjust the seat recline into a number of positions with ease, or have my child face me vs the world. The full seat canopy cover is wonderful as well, and something that I've been looking for in a stroller for some time. It offers shade and a bit of privacy, and is definitely one of my favorite features. My child isn't able to remove it, so it stays in place as needed. It is a little tedious to put away after use, but having it built into the canopy makes it worth the effort. The rain cover has also already come in handy as well during an outdoor wedding we attended. I am eager to try out the reversible seat cushion's mesh breathable side also once things warm up. I really love just how versatile and easy to use it is! The fabric is nice and sturdy, and overall very comfortable for my child with plenty of cushion. He has ridden in it for up to an hour without discomfort or complaint and the instant carriage seat setting is a feature that I had in our original stroller! While the seat is easy to adjust on the go, opening and closing the stroller is a bit of a pain. It's not particularly easy to do and can be slightly frustrating. When folded up though, it easily fits in the trunk of our car or to be stored away until the next use. These are the only cons I can find with this stroller however, and the other features all easily outweigh these and would not stop me from picking this stroller over others. I am thrilled that Stellar Product Testing Panel provided me with the Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max Modular Stroller! I would absolutely recommend this stroller if you are looking for a smart and sleek looking, versatile stroller that's easy to maneuver and comfortable!

Everything about this stroller feels like luxury. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it has become my everyday stroller due to how light it is and how comfortable it is for my little boy. The seat fabric is extremely soft, easy to clean, and durable. The leather handle is beautiful and feels so nice. Using the different seat modes during our walks is very easy. It is also very necessary as I have kids of different ages. I am able to use this stroller in the forward position for my 2 year old and then change it easily and seamlessly to face me with my newborn! My Grandma was even able to change it as she helps watch out kids. My favorite feature is the easily accessible storage. It fits my backpack or bag. It is easy to drop my jacket in if I get hot on the walk. The 360 canopy keeps the sun out of my littles eyes. I love the peak-a-boo area so I can easily check on him!

Mixed Feelings on Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max Modular Stroller

3 out of 5 stars

I recently purchased the Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max Modular Stroller, and my experience has been a mix of positives and challenges. Let's start with the drawbacks. The stroller is a bit heavier than expected, and mastering the unfolding process took some practice. While the "off-road" wheel mode is a nice touch, I found that even on the sidewalk, the wheels tend to bounce around more than I'd prefer. On the bright side, the extendable canopy feature has been a game-changer. Not only did it entertain my daughter with peek-a-boo sessions, but it also offered essential shade and darkness for those much-needed stroller naps. One standout feature is the impressive cushioning. The stroller is incredibly comfortable and cushy, providing a cozy ride for my little one. Additionally, the extendable handle has been a lifesaver for me, standing at 5'9". It ensures a comfortable pushing height as I navigate the stroller around town. In conclusion, the Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max Modular Stroller has its ups and downs. While the weight and unfolding process may pose initial challenges, the canopy, cushioning, and extendable handle make it a solid choice, especially if comfort and convenience are high on your priority list. Thanks to the Stellar Review Product Panel for allowing me to review and test out this stroller!

Lightweight, sleek stroller

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and have to say it has some great features. My favorite is the relatively small space this takes up when folded and stood upright! Any space saving feature is essential when living in a smaller house. The stroller was very easy to push and maneuver throughout our urban neighborhood sidewalks and up and down curbs. It was also great on our weekly visits to the zoo! The mesh fabric seems like it will wear well. The large canopy is a great feature and must have for weather protection! A few things to note: if your child is on the taller side, this might not be the best stroller for you. Without an extension on the canopy length, you're limited. My kiddo is an average height and his head comes close to the top of the canopy. Expect a small learning curve when opening and collapsing this stroller—it's a little difficult to open up but once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing.

Great stroller!

The Maxi-Cosi Tayla stroller is a great stroller with a lot of nice features. I was very happy to receive this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, as it truly seems to be a quality product with a sleek design. In comparison to my old stroller, I was super happy to see that when folded, the stroller can stand without tipping. I know that seems simple, but every time we packed up the van with our old stroller, we would have to balance it on something so it wouldn't fall and get scratched up. Another awesome feature is the 360 extendable canopy! It's nice to not need a separate mosquito cover if you want your child completely covered. I haven't tried it yet, but it would be easy to put a child to sleep in this stroller because it can be fully covered (darkened) and, in addition, it can lay completely flat. That's another feature not always found in strollers and one that I really appreciate. Having a flat seat is good for newborns as well, so I look forward to using this stroller with my next child. The stroller is not super heavy and has an easy push. My baby loved the peekaboo window, though it is pretty dark to see your child through. Another nice feature is the adjustable handlebar; it goes pretty low, which is good if you have little helpers who want to push the baby:) The cupholder was nice, but to be honest, I won't be using it, because it extends too far out and makes the stroller wider. The storage basket on the bottom is substantial, but not as big as some other strollers. Overall, it's a great stroller that I will use often!

The Perfect Stroller!

I live in a very walkable area, and use a stroller frequently for my toddler to go on walks, run errands, etc. For me, the most important things in a stroller are comfort, easy to expand and collapse, a smooth ride, and easy to store. This stroller checks every single box, and looks stylish to boot! First of all, the seat cushion is so plush—my toddler seemed so comfortable compared to other strollers I've tried. I also like the reversible cushion and being able to choose between the two fabric types. The handle bar grips are so comfortable, and the drink holder is a great feature. The one hand open and close is also key, given that I'm often holding a toddler and wrangling with the stroller at the same time. The navigation is very smooth. It took me a moment to figure out the locking wheels at the front, but once I learned how to toggle the lock, it was smooth sailing! Very easy to turn and navigate through doors, city sidewalks, etc. As for storage, the stroller stands on its own when collapsed, which I love. No need to prop it against a wall, which is perfect since we usually keep the stroller in between me and my husband's cars in the garage. It has a slim profile when stored as well. I also appreciate the ability to pivot the seat to face either direction, and the wind/rain shield is a huge asset living in the rainy PNW. Overall, this is my favorite stroller I have ever used. The quality is top notch, and it has all of the features I need without being cumbersome or bulky. I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The Maxi-Cosi Tayla Max Modular Stroller was very easy and simple to put together. The stroller is sturdy, well-made, and has a very smooth ride. The reversible seat cushion is awesome; the material is plush and the dual-sided fabric ensures a comfortable ride for my daughter in all types of weather. One of my favorite features is the 4 recline positions which allows the seat to easily convert to an instant carriage. I love how easy it is to switch around the seat to face either the outside world or the parent. The storage basket holds a lot and the adjustable handle is great! This stroller has many other nice features like lockable swivel wheels, a 360 degree canopy shade, and a peak-a-boo window so you can easily see your little one while on the go. It does have a 1-handed fold which is nice in theory but it does take some strength and effort to open and close with just 1 hand; this can be a little stressful when you're by yourself and in a hurry. Thankfully the fold is doable once you get the hang of it; I was able to open and close with 1 hand while holding my daughter after some practice, so it's definitely more convenient than our other stroller that requires two-hands to open and close. Overall, I am impressed with this stroller and would absolutely recommend. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller to test and review!
